Guy Ritchie doing what he does best.
Thandie Newton and Gerard Butler co-star in director Guy Ritchie's crime thriller about crooks from London's underworld who set out to nab millions of dollars left for the taking when a Russian mobster's real estate scam falls apart. Tom Wilkinson plays a powerful crime boss, with Jeremy Piven and rapper Ludacris appearing as record producers who g… Continue

I actually like Shakespeare now because of this film.
What if a penniless William Shakespeare (Joseph Fiennes) fell in love with a noblewoman (Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow) while struggling to write a comedy with the unlikely title "Romeo and Ethel the Sea Pirate's Daughter?" Might the emotional turmoil inspire him to recraft the play into a tragedy with a more familiar-soundi… Continue

The full trailer for the long awaited sequel is now available.
In this third chapter in the series Andy, the owner of Woody, Buzz, and all the other toys we've that populate his room, is grown and college bound. The toys think they can handle being second hand playthings, but when they're donated to a day care center they must make their escape from the over hyper, crazed toddlers.
Toy Story 3 opens June 18, 2010.
Yeah, I've been absent lately. Been really busy with college, writing my screenplays and spending time with my girlfriend. But I've also been watching a lot of movies lately, so here's a review of one I thought would be worth mentioning: ======
Review: The Haunted World of El Superbeasto
Let me preference this review by saying that I am a huge animation fan and a bigger fan of adult-oriented animation (what little there is). And by adult, I'm not just aiming along the lines of 9 and Animatrix; I'm talking full-on nudity, cussing, violence, gore, and adult situations. HOWEVER, just because I'm for that kind of animated movie doesn't mean I just want those elements randomly thrown in with… Continue

I can’t think of many films that have actually made feel physically ill. I can watch the most horrific scenes of gore-laden violence and not feel sick. There are times however that something pushes me over the edge and makes me feel a little bit woozy. One scene that sticks out in particular is the scene in The Fly when Jeff Goldblum is pulling out his finger nails. There, I just dry heaved whilst thinking and writing about it. Thankfully it’s just one scene. The problem is, you see, I have a ma… Continue

What’s New Pussycat? Review
Rotten Tomatoes rating: 50%
My rating: Full Price!!
I should probably start out by stating that this was a film thrust on me by my father at an early age and was replayed nearly every year until I was fourteen, when I naturally stopped hanging around with them. This sort of aeroliminal dis… Continue

Returning once again to the world of J.K. Rowling, my expectations were pretty high about this movie for two reasons. Firstly, I had seen the trailers and they were nothing short of amazing. Seriously, all you need to see is an old man with a foot long stick waving it around and creating a ginormous wall of fire to get me to want to see the movie. The other reason was because I had real… Continue

I was very excited to get this DVD in the mail. So much so that it made waiting to find time to watch it very difficult. It is one of those movies that I knew was going to be good, but I didn’t know how great it would end up being until I actually sat down and watched it with fresh eyes.
What movie could possibly have me this excited? Well, it wasn’t some summer blockbuster or anything Hollywood has produced that I may have missed. It’s actually an independent film called Were The World M… Continue

I know that when you hear us complain about negative racial stereotypes being used in a movie you probably just roll your eyes, “Here they go again!” and dismiss it as part of our shtick. Especially when we’re making the accusations about space aliens or robots, like the ones in TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN.

Angels and Demons is the adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Dan Brown , the same person that wrote The DaVinci Code and as well as he DaVinci Code it is directed by Ron Howard and with Tom Hanks in the leading role. This one is way better the the previous one but it isn't that great to impress. Angels and Demons is a very well structure thriller with lots of action, adventure and suspense. It has a fast rhythm, a convincing and interesting story, although I think it has some hol… Continue

Man, this weekend I saw The Burbs.
Tom Hanks playing a paranoid suburban idiot, who was right all along? Oh and of course carrie fisher is in here as a milf? Ok, not a milf, but she was in this and it was weird.
This movie had a great part where three neighbors, including hanks jump into a trash truck to find skeletal remains..it was hilarious.
On a different note, did you ever notice that the Sportscenter chicks are hot? Man, I wish i met hot chicks that liked sports...in fact I don't know a… Continue

Author Dan Brown is no stranger to controversy. The Author of "The DaVinci Code", "The Digital Fortress", the upcoming " The Solomon Key" and " Angels and Demons" has been shown his fair share of disdain by not only the devout, but by his fellow authors, for taking his books too seriously.
Director Ron Howard seemingly dived head first into that same pool of controversy while tackling the movie version of " The Da… Continue
A lot of people have complained about the new "Terminator" film receiving a PG-13 rating . . .
I just saw "Angels and Demons" today, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as much as I can enjoy an implausible summer thriller (helicopter priests!!). But, what struck me about AND was the level on onscreen violence. I found it pretty graphic. Not to spoil too much here, but we see: two people graphically burned alive, a dead body with dirt shoved down it's throat, a bloody eye-ball lying on the ground, a wo… Continue

I approached the second big release of the summer movie season with some trepidation. I've never seen an episode of Star Trek in my life and I've never seen any of the ten movies made since 1979. Part of it may have to do with the fact that it's a very geeky franchise, and I have the impression that it's hard to just jump into a random episode and under… Continue

I was able to catch a showing of this on HDNet.
The Great Buck Howard is about Troy Gabel (Colin Hanks), a law school drop-out, who wants to become a writer, much to his father's (Two-time Oscar-winner Tom Hanks) disapproval. Troy is still an amateur writer, and he isn't getting anywhere, so he decides to get a job as the assistant of Mentalist Buck Howard (Two-time Oscar-nominee John Malkovich). Buck performs his corny show to small audiences in small towns, but he doesn't accept that he isn't… Continue
Valkyrie a film based on real facts about a German Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg is a loyal officer who serves his country but that doesn't agree with Adolf Hitler's ideologies. and along with other military men conceive a plan to kill him. It is a very good thriller with lots of drama and suspense. The story is very interesting and the plot is well developed. It is perfectly set on the 40's era, the costume design and the locations are excellent. Directed by Bryan Singer, he left behind the mo… Continue
