#08 - What the Digimon Movie was Meant to Be!

#08 – WHAT THE DIGIMON MOVIE WAS MEANT TO BE!

As a child I loved the original “Digimon” series and sadly I was only able to watch it up until the middle of the second season as in Europe the episodes were only brought out at a certain time while I was in school. The Reruns were only broadcasted as soon as I got home but completely jumbled so that I never truly understood how everything fit together. Even though I did not own a Playstation, I still owned a guide…

Star Trek (2009) Review

Rating-(High)Full Price!!   I'm not really much of a Star Trek fan (I saw like one season of TNG and some of the movies), but hot damn was this movie fucking badass. During one of the worst summer movie seasons in cinematic history (2009) Star Trek came out and blew audiences and critics away, and for very good reason. It is one of the best summer movies ever and if you call yourself a fan of sci-fi you must see this, and if you love a fun action movie you must see…

The Darkest Hour Review

Rating-F**K YOU!!!    Holy fuck! I knew Russia made terrible movies but holy shit, this has to be the of the WORST science fiction films I have seen in years. If I had to choose which was worse: Skyline or well.... THIS, I'd have to choose this. I'd go as far to say that I'd rather watch Skyline twice…

Looper Review

Rarely does a science fiction film make you really think about philosophical questions that are nearly impossible to answer but whenever one does come along, it's always a real treat. The same goes for time travel stories. It is so rare to find an excellent example of what a time travel movie should be because whenever…

Men In Black 3 Review

Rating-Full Price!!!

Men In Black 3 is a solid, fun, action sci-fi movie that I really enjoyed and I view it as a worthy entry in the MIB series. The story of Men In Black 3 is that Will Smith must travel back in time to save his friend played by Tommy Lee Jones from an escaped alien…

Awesome New 'Looper' Clip

'Looper' remains one of the last of my highly anticipated films of 2012. A time travel gangster action movie from the director of 'Brick?' Come on! The movie stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a hitman whose victims are delivered to him…

Open Discussion: Is it better to get hands on experience, or to learn the basic fundamentals first?

Growing up I always had a passion for writing and the arts, and by arts I mean everything from music, to singing, to acting I love it! And respect it as a craft, as a I would for someone sharing a passion for knowledge and being a scholar. So naturally I've always aspired to be a sort of renaissance woman of the arts, I wanted to sing, act, write..especially write. Writing is my first love after all, and deciding at a young age that this is what I wanted to do. As I got older I would…

In Time Review

The Robin Hood story meeting Bonnie & Clyde meeting The Fugitive meeting classic '70s sci-fi noir is a lot better than how it sounds. This movie is actually better than some people are saying because the script and story is solid and it has a lot of really good ideas. The problem with this film is the directing and the editing because it's longer than it should be and the pacing isn't awful but it definitely could've picked it up in order to keep the suspense going for…

Movie Review: In Time

In Time is a lot like The Matrix: it’s unrealistic as all hell and features a lot of one-dimensional characters, but it has a unique style, cool action scenes, and an intriguing concept that carries the film along. The film takes place in a future where the aging process stops at 25, and from then, one gains a neon arm-clock that…
