Alice in Wonderland set to come out March 5 2010, has already spread through out different places through the world, such as merchandise from Hot Topic, to showing their trailers in 3-D. But Alice in Wonderland is even influencing the world of music. Popular Fueled by Ramen band, Paramore, has released a new video (directed by Meiert Avis) for their newest single "Brick by Boring Brick, off of their newest rock album "Brand New Eyes." The beautiful video includes many Alice in Wonderland referen… Continue

Michael and Jason Heroes: Tabula Rasa Review

This is our first joint review. Razz's part is first, Mike's is after the dashes. Let's get started, shall we? Heroes came back with Tabula Rasa on Monday, pretty good especially the Sylar/Gabriel scenes. Rather than going through scene by scene I would rather go through it by characters since Heroes is a very character centric show. Hiro awakens to find Peter has taken him to the hospital. Peter believes Hiro came to him in order to be saved. so peter goes off for help after taking Hiro's ab… Continue

Charlie Dirkx Brutal Legend Review

Tim Schaefer. What do you think about when you hear this name? The creator of games like Grim Fandango and Psychonauts? That chubby dude with a beard? Nothing? Well, Tim Schaefer has a new title. The creator of Brutal Legend, one of the best games I've played this year. The Good: The story is a big focus of this game (as is in any other Schaefer game), and it's great. A lot of reviews have been saying that the humor peters out near the end, but I think the final confrontation had some of the fu… Continue

The toys think they can handle being second hand playthings, but when they're donated to a day care center they must make their escape from the over hyper, crazed toddlers. Toy Story 3 opens June 18, 2010.

PvtSnafu If The Great Hollywood Directors Directed some of the Disney Animated Classics? (A WTF?! BLOG)

This has been on mind for quite a while. I always wondered what would certain Disney Animated classics would look if big named and important directors got a hold of them, for good or ill. The following is would be taglines for their posters. Most of these taglines are borrowed from each of the director's own film posters. There are some that I tweaked a bit to fit with the film, others I left alone because it fit the film. If The Coen Brothers directed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs?Continue

Mr.Burn Notice Superman/Batman:Public Enemies Review

Hey once again, this is Mr.Burn Notice bringing you an early review of the new animated movie from DC, Superman/Batman:Public Enemies. This movie is based on the graphic novel by the same title written by, everybody favorite writer, Jeph Loeb. Now before you get all down on this movie before we even start the review, the graphic novel isn't bad. But it isn't great either. It's really your opinion. But we aren't here to review the graphic novel, we are here to review...… Continue

Charlie Dirkx Brutal Legend Demo Impressions

DECAPITATIONNNNN!!!! This is one of the many hilariously memorable lines uttered in Tim Schaefers "Brutal Legend". This game hellishly funny, with Jack Black delivering the best performance I've ever... heard him in. The game's script is sharp as nails, with the beginning cut-scene making fun of the new age "Metal" bands with the pansy-ass singers and DJ's and all that stupid shit. (SPOILER: They all die in the first cutscene. Made my day) The gameplay is pretty cool, although lacking a jump bu… Continue

ladiesman217 (Late) 9 Review

A few weeks ago, movie fans were blessed with the gift that was District 9. First time director Neil Blomkamp (along with producer Peter Jackson)'s dark action packed sci-fi film (which was based off a short film) became a smash hit and is still currently in this weeks top 10 at the box office. And here we are now with a similar flick, 9. This an edgy sci-fi animated film by another firs… Continue

Harrison Sim "9" Film Review

"9", directed by first timer Shane Acker, is a film unsure of itself. Whether that be the fact that it's stuck between adult content and child-like simplicity in terms of character and plot, or the vague morale message it uses as a weak excuse for its post apocalyptic setting. It's contrived, the dialogue, thankfully spare, drags the film, and plot progression only comes in when they animators need another excuse for a fight scene. The short film that the movie is based on (they share a t… Continue

Dylan Elliott Review: 9

You ever see a trailer for a movie that looks totally bad-ass, only to get to the end of the trailer and see: "Coming December of next year"; or something like that. Well, several months ago, while I was sitting in the theater waiting to see "Coraline", I saw for the first time, the trailer for "9". I wanted September to be arrive right then and now. Instead, I waited six months for the film to arrive. For the past few weeks, I had been growing anxious, waiting for 9/9/09 to arrive. Was this fil… Continue

DavidBray Mars Attacks! (1996) - Review

Mars Attacks! Review Rotten Tomatoes rating: 46% My rating: Rental

Whenever I am asked what my guilty pleasure is, apart from a strange liking of folk guitar, this film always pops up. It is terrible. It took 100 million to put it out there and it made 101 million. It’s jaw droppingly bad. Yet for some reason this movie is something you can lie back, disconnect your jaw, and drib… Continue

TheWraith Alice In Wonderland Teaser

So, the new Alice In Wonderland movie from Tim Burton finally has a trailer up. I'm a little disappointed, but I'm hoping that's just because it's a teaser. It's not quite as dark or eerie as I was hoping for and the cheshire cat isn't as creepy as I was expecting either. I guess I was hoping for something a little more along the lines of American McGee's Alice, though I should have known better with the Walt Disney logo at the beginning of this trailer! Check the teaser trailer below! Updated… Continue

Mike J. McAllister Mike JM on Tommy Wiseau's THE ROOM

I remember watching Tim & Eric Awesome Show a while back, in my dark dorm room. My roommate and his girlfriend were out and Adult Swim ran spots for the night's episode. It showed Eric, ahem, "singing" a catchy tune going "Pork pork, I like to pork. Pork pork, I want to pork. P-p-p-p-pork in my pool. P-p-p-p-pork pork pork in my house." Another WTF moment that only the d
