Top 5 Villains of the 2000s

The heroes they’re constantly in battle with might not be too fond of them, but I’m betting all you people can’t get enough of VILLAINS!! Yessuh, I’ve dedicated an entire blog to the Top 5 baddies we (or at least, I) can’t get enough of. 4 are from films, but number 3 is from a TV show.

Keep in mind that this is all O-P-I-N-I-O-N and you can disagree with me as much as you’d like to. But also know that if you do disagree, you’re probably an idiot. Just sayin’…

The Other Series Finale of SMALLVILLE

Weird that it airs in the daytime and is marketed to younger kids, because the new MAD Magazine cartoon show is alot like ROBOT CHICKEN. Actually tends to be more topical and drops the sex jokes. Here's one of the better examples:

I hope the Co-Host 3000 enjoys this.

PCP (Pop Culture Podcast) Episode 027: Smallville Review

The boys of PCP lend a hand at the Kent Farm in rural Kansas. Looking back on the origins of the boy who would be Superman, we bid the 10 year television show farewell. We take a look back on the series as a whole and review the ultimate episode, Finale, in-depth. We also do a whole lotta bashing on what has too often been a very hard to watch show. But, as much as most of us rip on the series and some of its fans (ie Marcus and Josiah), we…

'Blue Beetle' Live Action Show Test Shots

Source: DC Entertainment

As Smallville gears up for it's final season, WBTV and DC Entertainment are working hard at a new live action program to fill the gap in fan's hearts (and DVR queues). That show will focus on tertiary character the Blue Beetle, who worked with the JLA and on his own for years in the DC Universe.

Keep in mind that these images came from test footage, so don't get uptight if it… Continue

Smallville coming to a close.

The television show Smallville was just renewed for a 10th season and what will be its final season. Now being such a big fan of the show I'm both surprised and pleased. Now usually when people see a show go on this long it loses the feeling that once made it great. Well usually its right but with Smallville I think it thrived among its badness. Now I admit there have been periods…

Leon Reviews "IRON MAN: ARMORED ADVENTURES Vol. 2" DVD

As we come into the second volume of Iron Man: Armored Adventures there really isn’t much new to report and what new there is is the squandering of the optimism I saw in its potential from the first six episodes in Armored Adventures Vol. 1 i wrote… Continue

'Hawkman' Next For WB/DC?

Source: Pajiba

This is still a rumor -at the moment- but Pajiba is reporting that Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment are setting their sights on developing a feature film based on the DC hero Hawkman.

Hawkman is one of the decidedly lesser DC heroes, first created for the pages of Flash Comics in 1940 by… Continue

Aquaman Pilot... WTF?!?!??!

Now I Just watched the Aquaman pilot (you know- the one that failed) and my first thought was; Why is Justin Hartley (Oliver Queen/Green Arrow in Smallville) Aquaman? Now I tried to watch it on AOL but those bastard cut the feed off half-way through it, so I used some of my Christmas money to get it on iTunes. Well i thought that it was pretty good in a made for TV sort of way and i cant really see why it failed. and then it dawned on me- oh… Continue

Supernatural and Smallville get picked up for another season

The CW is pretty happy with providing frustrated teenage girls with footage of washboard abs and cute dimples, while at the same time pretending to actual care about good science fiction/supernatural television shows. It's paid off for them so far... why not keep a good thing going?

Supernatural will get a 4th season which I suppose is good news for Supernatural fans. I don't watch it but I do plan on starting it some day so when I do,… Continue
