There’s no way I can write this review without first addressing the elephant in the room. Said
elephant being the question on everyone's lips:
“WHY ARE THEY RELEASING THE 20th SEASON OF THE SIMPSON WHEN THEY STILL HAVEN’T RELEASED SEASONS 13 THRU 19????!!!”

Before we go any further I’m gonna give you a chance to slowly ask that question out loud and take some time to think on it…

The Batman, Season 2 Review
Before I begin, I would like to note that I will just focus on the plot of this season. If you are looking for a review of acting and the art style, and so on I refer you to my “The Batman, Season 1 Review”:
http://my.spill.com/profiles/blogs/the-batman-season-1-review
In this season, Bruce is shown as a bit more mature character who is able to live in agreement with his…

The Batman, Season 1 Review
General Premise
This is Bruce (here 26 years old) during his young years as a Dark Knight (in episode 1 he celebrates the 3-year anniversary of claiming the cape and cowl). This is a nice take as we see Batman making mistakes (he has not yet claimed the title of “the world’s greatest detective”, far from it) and struggling with being the Gotham’s protector and a young playboy at the same time. This introductory season follows Batman as he meets…

I’m a whore. No not that kind of whore, or a media whore. I mean for pretty much anything spy, espionage, government secret, and/or conspiracy things. Well both I and my dad have a love for those things. Love the James Bond films (need to read the books), think the Jason Bourne films kick all kinds of ass (need to read rest of books), “24” is one my favorite…

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra: August 7: Movie Season 2009.
3.8/5
Boom Boom Pow. Action, Action and more action. No plot needed here, because there isn’t much. The movie is based off of the 1980’s cartoon and Hasbro action figure line. The movie takes place in the not to distant future where a government weapons manufacturing company M.A.R.S. has created nanotechnology weapons capable of eating away threw any object. While being transferred and sold to NATO, The US Army who is…

I'm going to try to keep this review short and to the point.
The Spectacular Spider-Man is arguably the best Spider-Man cartoon ever made. Sure, it has it's imperfections and the animation style may be off-putting to some (I like it myself), but it's just so much damn fun and captures the essence of Spider-Man better than anything that's come before it (and that includes all three movies).
Now, if you haven't watched the…

As excited as I was about the return of Futurama, FOX has once again ruined that experience by their callous actions. According to no less than cast members John DiMaggio, Phil LaMarr, and Maurice LaMarche on their Facebook pages, a casting notice has gone out to replace actors DiMaggio, LaMarche, Billy West and Katy Sagal.
News Post:
Is Futurama being recast? Several outlets, including EW.com, are reporting that apparently 20th Century Fox, who produce the series, are… Continue

Well 24 fans, another season of Jack Bauer saving the world has come and gone. I can say that I was overall satasfied with season 7. For those who have been watching and following 24 for the last few years know how good season 5 was. Season 5 was probably one of the best seasons of all, and season 6 in my opinion just had to much to live up to. It was bound to be dissapointing as soon as season 5 was over. Did I enjoy it? Of course, it was still great television, I just think it had far to much…

The finale was on tonight, which means that we still have one more season left before everything is resolved (hopefully!)
First I want to get this off my chest:
OH....MY.....GOSH, THAT EPISODE WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!
I think this season has been one of the best seasons the show has ever had and this is coming from a guy who has loved almost every single season the show has made. It was unique, thought-provoking, intense and, best of all, suspenseful. While it has…

Award season is just around the corner, and I'm asking myself the same question I asked myself last year: What makes a good film?
Is it the acting, the direction, the design, or the replay value? There are so many factors that can make a good movie that I wouldn't know where to start. What do these big time critics at these award shows consider when they cast in their ballots for nominations? What are they looking for when they want to give out those shiny golden…

Gaze into my crystal balls. GAZE, mere mortals, for their gargantuan wonder holds the secrets to your cinematic future! And it is a future so big, it requires two, massive, swinging balls to tell it! So watch them dangle friends as I feed to you snippets of the future.
Okay, so right now I'm busier than I normally am. This time I worked all the way through the holiday weekend. When I wasn't blogging, I was writing reviews, when I wasn't writing reviews I was watching movies.…

Yes, I know a look at my username and picture might make it seem like I might be a bit biased to do this review. And by a bit, it’s a bit like Lex Luthor getting to decide immigration policies regarding the Kandorians. But let me assure you, I am first and foremost a cheap broke transitioning college student with barely enough cash for comics each week. Ergo, while I obviously think the show is the best on television, not all the merchandise is the…

The date has been set and the fifth season of
LOST will premiere on January 21, 2009, at 8 p.m.!
If you happen to be marking that on your calendar you'll be the first to notice that means the show is returning to it's old time slot on
Wednesday nights (last season it was moved- much like the island- to Thursday nights.)…

I am the stone that the builder refused
I am the visual,
the inspiration,
that made lady sing the blues
I'm the spark that makes your idea bright
the same spark
that lights the dark
so that you can know your left from your right
I am the ballot in your box
the bullet in the gun
that inner glow
that lets you know
to call your brother "son"
The story that just begun
the promise of what's to come
