My Little Pony: FIM review - Season 2, Episode 13 (Baby Cakes)

I'm back once again to talk about the ponies, and for the first time in what feels like forever, I have this up on the day the episode actually aired. Forgive my tardiness on the previous blogs, there seemed to be always something else to deal with back then, but with a free afternoon, I can get this one out…

The Plot Hole Podcast - Episode 36

I hope you nice people do not mind some shameless self-promotion with the Podcast I work on, The Plot Hole at Playeraffinity.com. Episode 36 has been put on and the topics of discussion this week are the following:

  • Benedict Cumberbatch being cast in the Untitled Star Trek Sequel
  • Amanda Seyfred and Taylor Swift being cast/offered roles in the Les Mis film adaptation and I offer my opinion on who should…

My Little Pony: FIM review - Season 2, Episode 11 (Hearth's Warming Eve)

With all the doom and gloom that's gripped the World in recent times, I think it's time for some festive cheer, and how better than to take a look at the Christmas-themed special that aired over the weekend? And even from a critical point of view, it's interesting to see how this avoids the standard…

Smallville - All Caught Up

Hello Hello, guess who? Anyways I think I should give a little background to all of this if I expect any of you to watch my videos. First of all I didn't become aware of the show Smallville until maybe season 5 as all my friends kept telling me I should start watching because they thought I would like it. But of course the pessimistic side…

Why the world needs "Jersey Shore"

December 2009, a much simpler time. Exictment was building for future films such as "Avatar", "Sherlock Holmes" and of course "Alvin and The Chimpmunks, the squeakeul". Little did the world know that they were about to be introduced to the most rambuctious family to ever hit television since the Cosbys. Season one of the shore introduced us to a great cast of characters. Body freak the situation, spikey haired Pauly, Tig Bitties Jwoww, Sammi Sweatheart, family man Vinny Big Ron and lil Snookie.… Continue

South Park & Cynicism

I wanted to briefly (or as briefly as I can) talk about the most recent episode of South Park. I know that a lot of people have started falling out of love with South Park. Many have said that the show has become "uninspired" and "is repeating itself". I'm no stranger to this; I've felt that this last season and a half hasn't been that great... and it appears that creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone know this as well.

For those who haven't…

Zeek's Summer Movie Season Survival Guide

Well, that time is close upon us now. Summer Movie Season. And even though I no longer work for a movie theatre, a part of me still feels like I should share some insight as to how to survive this season’s theatre traffic. Now, this isn’t going to be a FAQ, since I already have a couple of those. This is more of a consumer…

Leon Reviews "OPEN SEASON 3" (Blu-ray/DVD Combo)

I’m coming into this review of OPEN SEASON 3 at a bit of a disadvantage, inasmuch as I had no idea they’d even made an Open Season 2! Even though it went direct-to-video, I thought I might have heard something about it. Nope. Nada.…

The Walking Dead: Season One Review

This review contains very minor spoilers.

This show; for years we’ve been waiting for a television show about zombies. It seemed logical, you could have a rotating cast, the zombie effects didn’t have to be good to be frightening, and if you avoided abandoned cities, it would be cheap to make.…

Smallville coming to a close.

The television show Smallville was just renewed for a 10th season and what will be its final season. Now being such a big fan of the show I'm both surprised and pleased. Now usually when people see a show go on this long it loses the feeling that once made it great. Well usually its right but with Smallville I think it thrived among its badness. Now I admit there have been periods…
