Some footage of the new Predator film "Predators" was released by 20th Century Fox.
To tell you the truth I didn't really think that this would be good or interseting at all.....but this footage shows some potential for it to be pretty damn good. Also the name is sort of a homage would you say to "Aliens" to sequel to "Alien" that seems like a good contrast. It looks good I'm liking this so far
If you haven't see the Aussie zombie flick 'Undead' then you might not have heard about the twin genre directors Michael and Peter Spierig. You will, though, if they get the success they deserve after their after second film 'Daybreakers'. This was done a few months ago during Fantastic Fest here in Austin, TX and was definitely one of the highlights of the event. Going back and listening to the interview again reminded me just how much Cyrus… Continue
James Cameron has given us some of the most influential films of the 20th century. He has pressed his name into many roles: producer, director, writer, and even editor. All of his films seem to have a few commonalities among them. But, he definitely has a staple in Sci Fi films. This past year alone brought in a notorious feature known as 'The Human Centipede' which tells the story of a professor who creates a 'human centipede' from three unfortunate young by sewing their mouths to another person's - well, I've let you use your imagination to finish that sentence.…
After the Sci-Fi channel announced it would be be changing its name to SyFy, bloggers everywhere (including here) fired off en masse decrying the move by NBC/Universal as boneheaded, arrogant, and disrespectful to the genre it was trying to describe. To many, the change from Sci-Fi to SyFy was a corporate move to squeeze more money out of the channel by broadening its audience with light,… Continue

So on to a film I don’t like.
When a four-million-year-old black monolith is discovered on the moon, the government sends a secret team of scientists in to investigate. Eighteen months… Continue
Whenever I am asked what my guilty pleasure is, apart from a strange liking of folk guitar, this film always pops up. It is terrible. It took 100 million to put it out there and it made 101 million. It’s jaw droppingly bad. Yet for some reason this movie is something you can lie back, disconnect your jaw, and dribble along to. It’s so bad it’s… Continue
