When the trailer for this film dropped, most looked at it with a cynical eye. Another unfaithful adaptation of a children's book that will likely be mediocre at best. Personally, I thought it looked cute, and that it might not be too bad, but I in no way thought there was a possibility it could be as good as it actually was. Instead of attempting to be too faithful to the source m… Continue

I must admit, I was one of the most excited people in the world about this movie. The trailer was absolutely fantastic, (You know, the one with Arcade Fire's Wake Up in the background?) and it looked like the movie might even get on some Top Ten Lists at the end of the year.
And the final product will still end up on a few lists, but not universally, and not for for t… Continue

The Informant! is a comedy based on a very true story of Mark Whitacre (Matt Damon), upper management employee of lysine devoloping company ADM in the 90s, who decides to become a spy for the FBI, informing them on the price-fixing going on at his company for years.
Directed by Stephen Soderbergh, this movie is genius in the way that it can be extremely funny while showing nothing but co… Continue

Somebody needs to burn this film.
In this satire skewering Hollywood movie making, Eric Idlestars as a film editor who gets a shot at directing a big-budget film (starring Sylvester Stallone and Whoopi Goldberg, no less) but is foiled by his producer (Ryan O'Neal). The premise builds on the age-old showbiz tradition of directors pulling their names from projects an… Continue

To be honest I didn't expect much from this movie, it was made with two guys from youtube, there limit for a video is ten minutes and self sterotypes are used as a punchline and most of their videos are similar to the others, so with that in mind let me tell you about "sean and ryans not so excellent adventure" and trust me im sure it was called that after they saw the quality of the film.
With the casting of Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern Hal Jordan Makes me think who should play the other roles in the film
Sinestro :Ben Kingsley is a great Sinestro he can play the monotone cocky facist mentor of Hal jordan
Another person could be the Great Gary Oldman all im saying is Watch the Professional and and the fifth element to see what I am talking about
Michael Emerson come on Ben Linus is sinestro
Carol Ferris: Carla Gigino I don't know what it is but she has it
Guy garner: now I d… Continue

Well, Variety is reporting that Ryan Reynolds has landed the job of Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern and I must say...I feel empty
I have been a fan of Ryan Reynolds since I saw him in Just Friends. I thought he was hilarious and after seeing some of his other works he actually became my top choice for Wally West aka The Flash.
But even though I am a fan, this recent news leaves me kind of uneasy for some reasons
1) Excitement?
I think the main reason why I'm somewhat disappointed with this… Continue
The proposal is the typical romantic comedy women love with the difference that in this movie the roles are changed, the woman (Sandra Bullock) is the one that falls in love with the man (Ryan Reynolds) at the end. The story about a pushy boss forces her young assistant to marry her in order to keep her Visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada is kinda predictable and corny and the plot has some holes in it, it isn't very well developed. In The Proposal you can find different type… Continue

X-Men origins: Wolverine the first spin-off/prequel of the X-Men saga and maybe the most anticipated of all. The film has a very good adaptation, even if you're not into the Wolverine story, you will understand perfectly. Its a movie full of action from the very first minute, a little of drama, some very good moments of humor and even a little bit of romance and the special effects are excellent. It has a fast paced rhythm making the movie interesting and never tiresome. The cast is really good,… Continue
