From Ain't it Cool News -
Ain't It Cool News is reporting an interesting rumor that Jackie Earle Haley, who played Rorschach Watchmen and stars as Freddy Krueger in the upcoming A Nightmare on Elm Street, is the front-runner to play Green Lantern villain Sinestro.
Not only that, but the site says that Superman may make a cameo appearance as well!
In case you're not familiar with the character, you can read all about Sinestro here.
Green Lantern, to be directed by Martin Campbell and starring… Continue

There are tales as old as time. Tales of bravery, of good versus evil, of kings and wizards. Then there are tales of people with plastic personalities, wearing plastic armour and fighting with plastic weapons against men in rubber suits who move as if there balls are always uncomfortably caught in their underwear. Uwe Boll’s In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale is the latter.
I suppose I should begin by saying I’ve never played Dungeon Siege so I have no idea how faithful this film is… Continue

According to /Film (in turn from the Hollywood Reporter), that headline is true. Let me repeat: Ryan Reynolds is Hal Jordan.
While the deal isn't yet finalized, the man currently known as Sandra Bullock's green card and Deadpool is indeed the final choice for the (approximately) $150 million production of the famous DC Comics character. The other three contenders for the role (who each received screen tests along with Reynolds) were Jared Leto, The Hangover star Brad… Continue
Well, Variety is reporting that Ryan Reynolds has landed the job of Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern and I must say...I feel empty
I have been a fan of Ryan Reynolds since I saw him in Just Friends. I thought he was hilarious and after seeing some of his other works he actually became my top choice for Wally West aka The Flash.
But even though I am a fan, this recent news leaves me kind of uneasy for some reasons
1) Excitement?
I think the main reason why I'm somewhat disappointed with this… Continue
The proposal is the typical romantic comedy women love with the difference that in this movie the roles are changed, the woman (Sandra Bullock) is the one that falls in love with the man (Ryan Reynolds) at the end. The story about a pushy boss forces her young assistant to marry her in order to keep her Visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada is kinda predictable and corny and the plot has some holes in it, it isn't very well developed. In The Proposal you can find different type… Continue

X-Men origins: Wolverine the first spin-off/prequel of the X-Men saga and maybe the most anticipated of all. The film has a very good adaptation, even if you're not into the Wolverine story, you will understand perfectly. Its a movie full of action from the very first minute, a little of drama, some very good moments of humor and even a little bit of romance and the special effects are excellent. It has a fast paced rhythm making the movie interesting and never tiresome. The cast is really good,… Continue

before we start this off i think i'll let it be known that i LOVED X-men Origins: Wolverine. i loved seeing wolverine in a different light because quite frankly (despite him being one of my favorite characters) I've never been able to give a rats arse about him. as a child when i read the X-men i looked at them as a team, as each individual making something bigger and more important than themselves, so seeing the wolverine hype thats taken over the world for the past near decade has been nothing… Continue
The X-men Origins : Wolverine movie has been out for a while now, easily enough time for a bunch of Fans to create clever videos, images, and other cool stuff. Today on Brock's Fan Theater we're going to look at a few of the things X-men Fan's have created t… Continue
Gee, really?
While I most certainly thought "X-Men Orgins: Wolverine" was crap, there was never any doubt it was going to perform well, at least for awhile. After an 87 million dollar opening weekend, a easter egg ending featuring Deadpool revealing his survival, and the most certain casting move in comics to movies since… Continue
After watching the wolverine movie, I hated what they did to my favorite Merc with the Mouth, but I saw the end credits scene with Deadpool and began to wonder...what would a Deadpool spin off be like?
WELL, HERE'S MY IDEA...
After failing to kill Wolverine, Deadpool is considered a failure. Deadpool is taken to where all the failed experiments of William Stryker go which is a large prison (think Shawshank Redemptio… Continue
So, I just watch the newest steaming pile of horse excrement from Fox/Searchlight... In case you haven't heard, X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been leaked and has hit the Internet for everyone who stands united against corporate tyranny from those who would keep us from getting something for FREE.
And if you don't believe in or condone that kind of behavior then shame on you, because that is the only way anyone under God's great yellow sun should have to be forced to sit through this horrible fil… Continue
