Just as bad as you think it would be. This instantaneous straight to DVD movie is full of no name actors, bad acting, and an obvious plot for revenge in which Ray Park's(Darth Maul, Snake Eyes) character sets in motion by killing someones fiance or sister by the looks of it.
The worst part is that this is based off the videogame franchise King of Fighters, and right off the back you can see that the actors look nothing like the characters from the game. This will be worst than both Street Fight…

Beowulf Review
Rotten Tomatoes rating: 71%
My rating: Matinee!

The 2007 movie Beowulf (not to be mixed up with the 2005 disaster with Gerard Butler) is based on the Old English epic poem of the same name. Taking an abridged, translated version of the poem and then editing it down further still the story begins with King Hrothgar (Anthony Hopkins) and his Danes being terrorized by…

There are tales as old as time. Tales of bravery, of good versus evil, of kings and wizards. Then there are tales of people with plastic personalities, wearing plastic armour and fighting with plastic weapons against men in rubber suits who move as if there balls are always uncomfortably caught in their underwear. Uwe Boll’s In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale is the latter.
I suppose I should begin by saying I’ve never played Dungeon Siege so I have no idea how faithful this film is…

Dawn of the Dinosaurs is the third movie of the Ice Age series. In this one we follow how's life treats our three main characters, Manny expecting the birth of his first baby with Ellie, Diego feeling frustrated because he has no adventure in his life anymore and Sid thinking that no one cares about him. When Sid finds three dinosaur eggs and take them with him is when the adventure begins. The movie is funny from the beginning till the end, an hour and a half of pure entertainment. The animatio…

I've been looking forward to this one for a long time, I love the movie version of Watchmen. The directors cut only makes it better, not to mention this is a 3-DISC Blu-Ray! Granted that 3rd disc is just the digital copy of the movie. But on with the review!

Let me start by saying that the directors cut
IS the superior version of the film without a doubt in my mind. It's way…

Now I would like to know something; they've tried making a movie version of the Marvel comic the Punisher three times first with Dolph Lundgren (Grace Jones' ex), then Thomas Jane, and most recently with Ray Stevenson in the title role. Now accordingly if all three were flops like they say, then why do they keep making them? Personally, I thought the first one with Dolph Lundgren was great! I had a copy of it (and lost it) and it was definitely one of my favorites. The second one wasn't all that…

Wait a minute, Spill readers! I know that seeing a review of Hannah Montana: The Movie in this sort of defensive light seems as unfitting as Amy Winehouse speaking in a PSA about avoiding drug abuse. But if I have learned ANYTHING in being a film critic, it has been to give every person – and every film – a fair chance and to not go in with premature bias. So please give me five minutes of your time and hear me out, starting....NOW!
First of all, I think Miley Cyrus is given way too much attent…

OK, I know the movie just came out, but for all of you Watchmen fans out there, I have put in mind the best idea for a Collector's Edition of Watchmen. now I'm not good with using my photoshop so I didn't really make a cover for it, but I think these three covers would be my choices:

Okay this pre New Year's movie rant isn't that long, because I kinda fell asleep at the 45 minute mark and kept channel surfing to see The Fly part 2 on the Spanish station.
From what I gathered, Forever Mine is a love triangle movie / thriller starring Gretchen Mol and Ray Liotta. But the main star seemed to be a Cabana boy, yup sounds like a bad Mad TV skit, when you give the synopsis out loud.
Anyways, the cabana boy falls for Ray "Goodfellas" Liotta's wife played by Gretchen Mol.
Anyone s…

I love The Dark Knight. I don't think anyone was more excited about the DVD/Blu-Ray release than I was. Hell, you should check out my room (Four Dark Knight posters, and a life-size Joker stand-up). Maybe I'll take pictures of them later, but anyways! I'm a huge fan of the film, and when I popped in the Blu-Ray last night I was thrilled to finally see the film on my television screen.
That being said, there are some unexplained moments in the film that I just don't get. Here is a list of some o…
