These are the fight scenes that stay with me the most on memory and inspire me in the action business... I'M TELLING YOU RIGHT NOW... THERE IS NO BRUCE LEE, CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON, AND ONLY ONE TONY JAA FIGHT... SO DON'T ASK PLEASE?
ALSO I'M LEAVING OUT CAR CHASES AND GUNFIGHTS... I MAY INCLUDE THOSE LATER.

I was surprised Russel Wong could keep up with Jet Li. It's interesting to hear the main…
Once upon a time, at the P.C.P. Brownstone, 4 evil exes were getting a life. And if you have you one, you wouldn't waste an hour of it on an epic Scott Pilgrim anaylisis of epic epicness... now would you? Yep, more Canadians! We've discussed the film and the game so now all that's left is discussing Bryan Lee O'Malley's 6-volume graphic novel. We talk the hipsterisms, game references and genuine relationship elements that made us fall in love with the books. Join… Continue

“Random thoughts for Valentine’s Day 2004. Today is a holiday invented by greeting card companies to make people feel like crap.” Those are the very first lines to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind. While it may no longer be 2004, that line still holds true to this day.
I've now been writing movie reviews and doing these "top/bottom" movies of the year for about 3 years now. Out of those 3 years this one is by far the hardest to chose just 10 movies to put as my favorite. This year has had so many great films and some pretty nice surprises. This is the first time I've had to decide between 5 movies in the first 3 months to put in my top 10. Usually that quarter of the year is battling for worst films. There…
While 2010 was a year of ups and downs, I’ll go through some of the movies that I was looking forward to that let me down, and movies that I wasn’t so sure about that turned out to be great. Does this necessarily mean I hated the disappointments with the utmost passion and the surprises are my favorite movies of all time? Most certainly not, although that level of black in white would probably make it more entertaining. But here’s the list…
10 Best Movies of 2010 1. Inception- Mind Blowing, Great action and story, creative, Great acting, all characters serve their purpose in the story, great twists and turns that add up to one of the greatest films ever made-Better than Sex 2.…
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is an explosive triumph of style and substance. An ensemble cast that gives almost every character a point to shine and near close to every actor a chance to show their acting chops. I mean this is the first film that gives us an honest-to-god energetic Michael Cera, which is a feat within itself. However, the film had portions that kept me from giving it a "Better Than Sex" rating. You may think I'm talking about the supposed 'slow' beginning. It…
While many on Spill were disappointed by the box office returns of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, we had all hoped the film would have a legacy on Blu-ray and DVD. Well it seems our crystal balls were right as Scott Pilgrim jumped to the #1 position of Amazon the day it was released, hopefully the trend continues. But on the DVD, I found a strange discovery in the extras: an alternate ending.
I finally got around to seeing one of the best films of the year, and almost no one is seeing it.
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World is a film based off of a series of independent comic books that follow a loser in Toronto. Although I had read the first five volumes of the series, I never thought it…Continue

Its that time of the month where I give my Top Ten on ANYTHING!
We have seen video-games acting more like theatrical movies nowadays, but were there any movies that act like video-games? Any movies that take on the same mannerism and elements as you would see in a video-game. And I'm not…
For the last couple of summers, I've usually gone to a movie every week. And usually it'd be something good. Sometimes something great. For the summer of 2010, I haven't seen half of the usual number. And few of them wowed me. Some were just okay at best (MacGruber), some good but not quite memorable (Get Him to the Greek, Predators), but I've seen some that were very good, but not quite to my expectations. Not going to say which ones, because… Continue
