New 'Warm Bodies' Interactive Infographic

I'm not 100% sold on Jonathan Levine's 'Warm Bodies.' The more I see of it, the more it looks like 'Twilight' with zombies, featuring just as much abandonment of supernatural canon. That being said, I am impressed with…

Mission Impossible 2 Review

Rating-(LOW)Full Price!!

Why this film gets so much hate I'll never know, but I still love it. The plot is a bit simplistic however: the team basically has to stop a madman from unleashing a virus that has the potential to wipe out humanity. But the plot isn't what I love about this film, it is the…

Understanding Kinect and Motion Control

Hey Spillers, I am Mr. Game Player otherwise known as Nick and welcome to my first official post and also my tryout to be hired by the Spill crew! Nah -nah the last one was a joke.. *wink* Right so let us begin!

Understanding Motion Control

As we saw recently in the Loading Bar's and pretty much every other gaming journal's review, has stated: Steel BATTALION SUCKS!

Yet, when the game first showed its face, the promise to SBS(sounds like a STD)…

Stop Motion Short Recreates 'The Thing'...With Penguins?

Stop motion films always impress me; requiring of so much patience and meticulous care. When stop motion films are tied in with my favorite live-action classic horror films, they take on an entirely new level of awesome. Such is the case with Lee Hardcastle's corruption of the Swiss claymation series 'Pingu' to retell the story of…

L.A. Noire and the Future of Motion Capture

One of the games I’m looking forward to the most but will ultimately not be able to play is L. A. Noire. (I lack a PS3 at this point, and the game won’t be coming out on PC. Not like my computer can handle it, but still, it would be nice.) What I’m looking forward the most from this title, however, is the technology behind it and where it will go in the future of not only game design, but in entertainment production in general.

For those of you out there who don’t know what the… Continue

CH Gorog's Top 5 Video Game dissapointments of 2010...

Oh, what a surprisingly great year this has been for gaming. From refreshing new IPs to great AAA titles, it looks like it's another victorious year for Synergistic Novels (video games). That being said, however, there were noticeable smoldering rocks that were ejected from Mount Fail.

Salty The Beast: Beavis and Butt-Head Do America: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album review

Artist: (various)

Album: Beavis and Butt-Head Do America: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Year: 1996

Genre: Various

The main reason I bought the Beavis and Butt-Head Do America soundtrack a few years ago was for the track "Love Rollercoaster" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. After listening through the entire thing, I was shocked at how good the rest of the album was. The Beavis and Butt-Head soundtrack is one of… Continue
