Shrek 4, or as it's now known as "Shrek Forever After" and previously "Shrek Goes Forth" has finally gotten a trailer to keep all the fans happy. Looks like all the cast are reprising their roles once again, and the story looks to be about Shrek getting trapped in some form of a parrallel universe where all the other characters are either completely unaware of him or have changed slightly. I hope that it's A LOT better than "Shrek the Third" because to be quite honest, it sucked. (My opinion BTW… Continue

A new Heroes was on tonight and we had a great action packed episode. What I thought was a good episode worthy of the last one of the year. We even got a Peter-Sylar fight, something every fan has been clam-mering for since the end of season one.
Samuel makes Eli the multiplier his new right hand man, aka the new Edgar. Claire follows the compass she stole from Noah all the way to the carnival. Samuel meets Claire and continues trying to get her to join the carnival and she and Gretchen go arou… Continue
Here at Mike and Razz’s blog, are slogan is “We tell you what’s good, what’s bad, and what we think should happen.” Well, we’ve gone good on reviews, but we haven’t really told you what we think should happen other than that occasional comments throughout the reviews. Well tonight after chatting for a bit, I’m happy to tell you about new segment called, Our Canonverse. This is basically what me and razz think should happen in our favorite shows regardless of the plausibility of what comes next.… Continue

I never saw the Daredevil movie in theatres, but I tried my best to defend it from it's critics. I thought that the film itself was said to be much worse than it actually was. I still stand by this statement; while I don't believe that is was a travesty of epic proportions, it could have been much better. I later watched the director's cut, and the who… Continue
This is our first joint review. Razz's part is first, Mike's is after the dashes. Let's get started, shall we?
Heroes came back with Tabula Rasa on Monday, pretty good especially the Sylar/Gabriel scenes. Rather than going through scene by scene I would rather go through it by characters since Heroes is a very character centric show.
Hiro awakens to find Peter has taken him to the hospital. Peter believes Hiro came to him in order to be saved. so peter goes off for help after taking Hiro's ab… Continue

Some people call me the gangster of love, well thats what Butters Scotch is known as. South Park returned with another episode last Wednesday, which can be described as creepy. This episode involves Butters starting a Prostitution ring, or kissing company as he calls it, in South Park right under the police' noses.
Butters gets the idea for his kissing company after he pays for a kiss by a girl named Sally. Butters goes out and brings customerst Sally and a few other girls who he gets to go ou… Continue
Welcome again to another one of Mike's movie reviews! This week, I went and saw Where The Wild Things Are. All I can say before I review it is that you have to keep in mind while watching this that it is a movie about a child's adventure -- not necessarily a children's movie.
The movie is very similar to the book in that it follows the adventures of Max as he sails away from home to the island the wild things live on. There he meets, befriends, and becomes the king of the wild things. From… Continue

Not the Ghostbusters, thats for sure. Now you may be wondering, why am I making a Ghostbusters reference without any kind of joke? Well, I'm here to give you all my review of the very popular new horror film know as Paranormal Activity. Lets dive on in, shall we?
I'll spare you all the ending, as I don't want to spoil for you. The movie begins with seemingly average couple Katie and Micah enjoying themselves at home. Micah is showing off his new camera, which will be used to film the couple… Continue

What did I think of the movie Extract? Well it wasn't Mike Judge's best, lets just say that. Watch the video below to find out my thoughts on the movie.

Once again, as with ‘Office Space’, ‘King of the Hill’ and even ‘Idiocracy’, Mike Judge does that thing that he does best: brings to life those oddball characters we universally suffer through our daily lives. Every one of them would make you say “I know somebody just like t… Continue
Getting back from this screening, I still didn't know what to think about this film. This film is just optimizes the very idea of someone who is at a low and dead end point in their lives. He is his own boss, he has a wife, and he works at creating one of the things he loves: extract. The low point in all of this is that he hates being his own boss, his wife doesn't sleep with him and he que… Continue
On August 20th, the stars of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett) did live riffing on Plan 9 From Outer Space at a theater in Tennessee. And I got to see it....
...at a theater in Minnesota.
Still, it was a fun evening. The show began with the three riffers taking on a newly found short, Flying Stewardesses. Naturally, because it's severely dated, it was ripe for heckling material. A running gag involved the guys slamming Fort Worth with them promptly apolog… Continue

Let me preface this by saying: I didn't really like Office Space.
Now, don't get me wrong, it had its great moments (John C Mcginley stole every scene he was in) But overall the sparse moments of comedic genius were hidden in a plot I felt would have fit better in a 30… Continue
Here's the thing, I don't go out and see movies that I already know I'm not going to like, which includes American remakes of Asian horror movies, and big hollywood self-masterbatory drivel like Transformers and G.I. Joe. So I'm sure there are worse films out there than the one's I'm listing but these are only the ones I've actually seen. If thee re better ones that I have overlooked or maybe have never heard of, please let me know.
With that in mind, let's get into it, shall we?

So, where the hell have I been? I know I've been absent from the boards and whatnot. Why? I've been busy as hell.
School
watching films
spending time with my girlfriend
You know...fun stuff. Not that I've forgotten my fellow spillios. So what else has been up in the world of yours truly? I'll give you a hint: it starts with a B
Listen, I hated 300. But I have just been floored. My opinion of Zach Snyder was so low before tonight. I went into this with the lowest of expectations, but I must admit Watchmen was great. It kicked my ass and rocked my socks. I'm on the fence between full price and better than sex. I felt thoroughly satisfied for my dollar.
Let me break this down into bullet points:
-Yea there was a blue penis bu… Continue
