Jordan Glazer The Riflemans Top Ten Movies of the Decade (first blog post)

Hello everyone, I'm the GumGumRifleman. Now while I am a major fan of Anime, I am also a huge fan of movies and TV. I have always liked to see movies ever since I was a little kid watching Jurassic Park. While I have been through two decades, one of them I was too young to really watch anything and too young to really right anything about movies yet. But I have been wanting to do this for quite a while and now I finally can. This decade brought us alot of amazing movies. Some small, some big and… Continue

Ed Manoto Jr The Expendables: The Toughest Crew Assembled

This summer movie season for me was a hit and miss for me. Though there were a few movies I did enjoy, this summer movie season was nothing short of mediocre. Transformers 2 was enjoyable, Star Trek was amazing, District 9 was orgasmic, and G.I. JOE, just flat-out blew a big fat one. Usually every summer there has been one movie that I cannot wait to come out. And sad to say, besides District 9 and Star Trek, nothing this summer really peaked my interest. With the 2009 summer movie season coming… Continue

Brock My thoughts on the new Iron Man 2 picture

I'm sure by now we've all seen this picture....

SastheMan89 Why "The Wrestler" is the most underrated film of the year

Let me start off by saying that I love the hell out of wrestling. I have ever since I first saw it in '05. Now, I'm sure that there are plenty of people out there who have been lifelong fans, and it's those people I envy the most. Those people are fortunate enough to have a better understanding of it than I ever will. I never had cable as a kid. We only had it for approximately 9 months during my 8th grade year. Don't ask me why, my parents are just like that. Anyway. It was a few months after… Continue

Zeek Slider Mickey Mouse Loses His Voice

One of the bad things about my theatre job is that I end up falling behind on entertainment news outside of weekend box office numbers. I just recently learned about the death of Wayne Allwine, the voice of Mickey Mouse for my generation. According to an article by the Associated Press (click here), Allwine died at the age of 62 due to diabetic complications. His wife, who is the official voice of Minni… Continue

Daedalus Ciarán "Disney Princess Syndrome; If You Want To Be Happy, You Better Get A Man" Or "What's Wrong With Disney?"

DPS, more commonly known as Disney Princess Syndrome, is a problem which affects many, many Disney Princesses (as I'm sure you're no doubt aware having read the name). The symptoms are common, always present in the patient and, sadly, are very contagious. The Syndrome itself is most commonly found among the Disney brand but is present in most forms of media which cater to the female sex (no giggling!). The symptoms include a single parent, anorexia (or unhealthy bodies), virginity… Continue

Daniel The Wrestler: A heart warming story. A great comeback for Rourke

The Wrestler is the story about Randy "The Ram" Robinson, a retired wrestler making his way through the independent circuit, trying to get back in the game for one final showdown with his former rival. Directed by Darren Aronofsky, The Wrestler is a non-stop, tear dropping drama that shows us the necessity of some people of feeling loved and useful at certain age. The plot is really interesting, raw and very real, although it has a slow rhythm it never turns tiresome to the viewer, in fact as th… Continue
