♫Tony Stark
Makes you feel
He's a cool exec
With a heart of steel. ♫
…except when he’s reimagined as a teenager who’s never held a job (let alone an executive position), kissed a girl or done any of the stuff that makes think of
Tony Stark as cool in the first place.

I was just looking through my page and noticed that it has been a while since I last posted anything up. And so, I've decided to post a review of trailers for upcoming movies this year.
Grown Ups
This seems like another comedy movie with big well known comedic actors, such as
Adam Sandler,…

Lets go back to a magical time, where men can offend thousands of Hindus, offend thousands of the southern people, fight women erotically, and get cancer and have nobody believe him, and still have a strong fan-base that lasts over 20 years after he has died. This time is called the eighties. And that man is Andy Kaufman.
This film is about Andy Kaufman (Played By: Jim Carrey) who was a comedi…

‘They’re going to screw this up’. That is how I felt about western adaptations of anime. Heck, I still feel that way with movies like Dragonball Evolution enforcing that point. But then there are movies like Astro Boy which prove that studios can do something meaningful with a license without completely cow-towing to the fans or selling out to make a quick buck.
Astro Boy takes pla…

DC vs. Marvel (First of 4): The Characters

It’s like Burger King vs McDonalds, like Cats vs. Dogs, like Kanye West vs. Award Shows. I’m typing about DC vs. Marvel. The two biggest comic book companies in the world have been in competition for as long as I can remember. The competit…

The ultimate team up for the rights of superheroes!
That sounds like a pretty awesome concept, right? If that was the synopsis you first heard of this game and you didn't read comics, it would sound pretty awesome. Does this game live up to that one sentence?
Yes and no. It's definitely not ultimate, but it's pretty cool for comic geeks like myself. On with the pros.
The roster of this game is huge, and although it takes out a few great characters from the first game like Dr. Strange, The Hulk…

After the Sci-Fi channel announced it would be be changing its name to SyFy, bloggers everywhere (including here) fired off en masse decrying the move by NBC/Universal as boneheaded, arrogant, and disrespectful to the genre it was trying to describe. To many, the change from Sci-Fi to SyFy was a corporate move to squeeze more money out of the channel by broadening its audience with light, brightly colored j…

Marvel has thousands of characters to feed Disney's film, TV, and animation business (Pixar is said to already be eyeballing an Ant-Man movie). As Iron Man proved, they don't need to be iconic to become blockbusters.
Ant-Man does seem right down Pixar's alley, although audiences might be a little tired of all the tiny characters they've already done (Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Finding Nemo). Let's just hope that they don't rehash another Disney movie and…

The
Walt Disney company is acquiring
Marvel Entertainment Inc. The transaction was approved by both companies but still needs an antitrust review and approval of the Marvel shareholders.
The company was bought for $4 billion dollars in cash and stock. Disney is claiming to give the shareholders $30 per share and 0.745 Disney shares for each Marvel share.
Looks like about 5,000 Marvel characters such as
Iron Man and
Spider-man will now bear the Disney logo. I don't k…

Okay, by now most of us have heard. Yes, Marvel has been bought out by the Disney Company. There are multiple threads discussing it across the forums, and I'm sure there are more blogs than this one about it.
All I have to say is: WHO THE F*CK CARES?? This is what happens in a free market, big corporations buy and sell different companies. If you don't like that, move to f*cking China and shut the f*ck up!
Really, all that's going to happen now is Marvel's profits go to the Disney Company, but…

Thank the lord for a good Batman game. Finally, my dreams have come true.
This is, by far, the greatest comic book game ever made.
Forget about Spider-Man 2. Sure, it was great, but this game is leaps and bounds ahead of anything before it. The creativity in this game is so amazing and... okay, onto the first paragraph with the good stuff.
Batman: AA, is a beautiful, beautiful game. The textures are amazing, and no detail is spared in the amazing environments. What's amazing is that this game…

Dammit Marvel. I like many comic fans hate reboots. You stick with a character and you love him/her and you love witnessing these adventures, then some A-hole says we wanna get new readers so Time For Reboot! I loved Ultimate Spider-Man yes
Even the Ultimatum issues. While the Requiem…

I think faithfulness is very important because im tired of hollywood screwing up comic book characters like venom, galactus, and deadpool just so they can say "oh hey we know we screwed up so lets make a spin off movie where we can get the characters right and milk more money from the fans". However if the director can make it work like with Iron Man or Watchmen or even The Dark Knight then i'll have no problem with it. Very rarely i will accept huge changes like transformers for example (which…

Well, what do you know? Hell has frozen over. It appears that Iron Man and Wolverine will be making the jump from Western comics to Eastern anime. Announced at comic-con, these initial designs in these teasers are the prototypes for how the show will look like. It appears that they are taking new directions in terms of style.
"Each series will have 12 30-minute episodes and work to establ…

Yes ok now calm down but the late "King of Pop" was slated to direct a spider man film way before Sam Raimi steped in to make a Spider Man film. Stan "the Man" Lee had intended him to make a film and was later not made for I don'yt know what reason.
Here's what "The Man" told MTV :
"It was just in the discussion phase. Michael Jackson and I were rather friendly. We had met a number of times. In fact, he came to my house once with his son and I remember my wife took care of his son for abou…

Let me just start off saying i loved the first MUA. The character roster was diverse and satisfying , the story was interesting and all characters multiple cool moves (about 10 per character) and 4 costumes.
Now we come to MUA2 (set during Civil War). I was really looking foreword to this but the more I find out about it, the more I start to doubt. Lets start off with the roster.
Presently all but 2 characters have been revealed and its looking, well a little odd...by odd I mean bad.
