Todd Phillip’s The Hangover works like Christopher Nolan’s Memento if you replace Guy Pearce with three hung-over friends and replace the death of his girlfriend with the disappearance of their friend. And if you were to set in Las Vegas. With lots of sleazy humour.
The film follows three friends; schoolteacher Phil (Bradley Cooper), dentist Stu (Ed Helms)… Continue
So, here's what happened. originally the next corps I was going to create was the Hope Corps (Blue). I was over my Girlfriends apartment watching more episodes from our box set of Buffy and I forgot my blank figures. My blank figures are where I get size comparisons from.… Continue

A little late to be sure, but I figured there's no better time than now. E3 2009 unveiled A LOT of great games to us and quite a few great trailers. I myself am a huge fan of trailers for games and movies since I find it an art form unto itself. With the right trailer, you can either build up just the right hype to make people curious enough to want the product or completely cement the fact your product will be awesome. Some trailers don't always work (especially when they tell you too much abou… Continue
I wasn't all that interested in seeing this until I saw episodes of the TV show. And I have to say, they look like crap. I wanted to see the movie because I liked the concept, and I didn't want to continue watching the show. Plus, I like Will Ferrell.
The movie starts strong with a hilarious bit between Will Ferrell and Matt Lauer, and from then on it was hit or miss. Ferrell and co-star Danny McBride's chemistry is dead-on hilarious. Most of the jokes in the movie won me over, but others miss… Continue

Wow, it has been awhile since I've been on here. Nonetheless, last weekend I went to see Land of the Lost on Friday with some friends followed by Up on Saturday with my family.
Land of the Lost is about the lowest I can perceive Will Ferrel getting. I chuckled perhaps twice during the movie, but for the most part was cringing at how they kept trying to set up jokes that turned out only to be childish punch lines about poop, pee or bug juice. Will Ferrel is the now cliche stupid man child, while… Continue

There is no question that TV has gotten progressively better in the last couple of years. I remember a time when TV channels didn't go over three digits. Not only have we crossed that numerical border, but there are more channels tailoring to a wider variety of interests. I could watch Boomerang and National Geographic all day. But in addition to reruns expanding past Nick at Nite and documentaries expanding past Nova, the variety of new programming has raised the bar in TV standards. So narrowi… Continue

A disgraced paleontologist, his assistant and a macho tour guide find themselves in a strange world inhabited by dinosaurs, monkey people and reptilian Sleestaks.
After seeing this new trailer. I actually laughed a little but.
So maybe it wont be to bad. Continue

In my humble opinion Lost is by far the greatest source entertainment ever created. The great thing about Lost is that it just keeps getting better and better. I found the first 3 seasons of L… Continue

The finale was on tonight, which means that we still have one more season left before everything is resolved (hopefully!)
First I want to get this off my chest:
OH....MY.....GOSH, THAT EPISODE WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!
I think this season has been one of the best seasons the show has ever had and this is coming from a guy who has loved almost every single season the show has made. It was unique, thought-provoking, intense and, best of all, suspenseful. While it has been a little tricky following th… Continue
Hello all, I was talking with a friend of mine today(Serenity Wind) and she brought up a great point. Music is an overlooked and important part of our lives and in film. So as to not step on her toes I won't count down my favorite soundtracks, but rather my favorite songs that opened or appeared in a movie.
10. Ninja Rap-TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2
Yeah I know it's Vanilla Ice, which is stupid and it was Teenage Mutant Turtles, which some of you may think was dumb. But hey I loved both as a… Continue
While I am not the biggest fans of Kate, she was just a bitch in the episode.
She just wanted to be with Jack and was willing to give up the chance to fix a few things such as...
1. Only about 250 people died in the initial crash.
2. 70 people forced to live the rest of their lives on an island.
3. The deaths of a few friends like: Boone, Shannon, Libby, Charlie, Charlotte, Daniel, Michael, Sayid's wife.
4. Her adopted sons mother went missing.
5. Having a horrible life of paranoia off the is… Continue
10. Tie: Sunshine/28 days late:
I just couldn't choose! They are both so spectacular. Sunshine is a rare sci-fi movie in the tradition of Gattaca that isn't carried by space battles or outlandish Martians, but with raw storytelling, a spectacular 30 minute finale, and some of the most visually explosive scenery I've ever seen. 28 Days Later looks like a paint-by-numbers horror flick, but is disguising a interesting political allegory and a tragic story of human survival. Props to Danny Boyle for… Continue
WARNING! You must be caught up with LOST or some of this may not make sense.
Want to know what the smoke monster is? Why Widmore wants to find the island? Or why the hell polar bears are on the island?

Will Ferrell stars as has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall, sucked into one and spat back through time. Way back. Now, Marshall has no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures from beyond our world - a place of spectacular sights and super-scaled comedy known as the Land of the Lost.
Sucked alongside him for the adventure are crack-smart research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and a redneck survivalist (Dan… Continue

How many times have you seen these situations in films? If you're any kind of film fan than it's probably every second of third film that Hollywood pumps out. Most lessons are harmless enough Be yourself, Dreams do come true and such and such. However, not every lesson or piece of moral guidance really stands up to logic or even makes all that much sense. As such I've decided to post 5 of the most common Terrible Lessons Hollywood Teaches Us.
