KoS Top Ten Kung-fu Films of All Time

Any all time list is going to be limited to what you've seen; what you can vouch for. Now I've seen nearly a hundred martial arts films so I'm pretty confident in my list, but we'll see. It's entirely possible that I could be embarrassed by one or two of my choices a few years from now. Martial arts films are exploding in popularity all over the world, and we're seeing more great films from places we've never seen them before. The last generation of big name martial artists are growing older… Continue

The Expendables: The Toughest Crew Assembled

This summer movie season for me was a hit and miss for me. Though there were a few movies I did enjoy, this summer movie season was nothing short of mediocre. Transformers 2 was enjoyable, Star Trek was amazing, District 9 was orgasmic, and G.I. JOE, just flat-out blew a big fat one. Usually every summer there has been one movie that I cannot wait to come out. And sad to say, besides District 9 and Star Trek, nothing this summer really peaked my interest. With the 2009 summer movie season… Continue

"BOMB!!!": Chun Li's "legend" looks like some ol' bullshit...

If you're among those that cling to the misguided idea that Street Fighter:The Legend of Chun Li was at the least a better movie than the '94 movie starring Jean Claude Van Damme...kill yourself. If you think this movie is a step in the right direction, then you would be doing humanity a favor.

It would be impossible to call yourself a fan of the franchise if you liked this movie. There is nothing about this movie that remotely… Continue

If the new STREET FIGHTER could have been good?

Ok it is going to suck no point saying otherwise but why? Is it the story? is it the actors? is it the writers or is it F**KING EVERYTHING!

Talk about wrong casting and SHOCKING floppy film making, Trying to keep it real and yet people can do fireballs HOW IS THAT REAL ITS STREET FIGHTER DAMN IT, Either make it real (and suck) or give the fans a true gritty dark Street fighter film, A sort of Sin City over the top style meets Enter the Dragon (kind of)

Ok so this is a list… Continue

Dragonball Evolution and Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li...WTF?!?!

I think i speak for everyone when I say..HOW CAN YOU FUCK THESE UP SO BAD!?!

Why is it so hard to make these kind of movies? Do the directors ever look at the material therye making? Or do they recreate it in the way the see it? GOD! these look horrible. Both. I actually had a little hope for Street Fighter but yet again I guess we all did after that first bullshit liveaction movie. -_- And… Continue
