Wow. Just...just wow. If you thought Rock Band gave you false hopes about being a guitar god, prepare to become a believer for the Church of Brütal Legend.
If you have talked to me about video games, you may know I ADORE Tim Schafer. Working under Lucasarts to create some of the most memorable games in gaming history (Grim Fandango, The Secret of Monkey Is… Continue
Tim Schaefer. What do you think about when you hear this name? The creator of games like Grim Fandango and Psychonauts? That chubby dude with a beard? Nothing? Well, Tim Schaefer has a new title. The creator of Brutal Legend, one of the best games I've played this year.
The Good: The story is a big focus of this game (as is in any other Schaefer game), and it's great. A lot of reviews have been saying that the humor peters out near the end, but I think the final confrontation had some of the fu… Continue
DECAPITATIONNNNN!!!!
This is one of the many hilariously memorable lines uttered in Tim Schaefers "Brutal Legend". This game hellishly funny, with Jack Black delivering the best performance I've ever... heard him in. The game's script is sharp as nails, with the beginning cut-scene making fun of the new age "Metal" bands with the pansy-ass singers and DJ's and all that stupid shit. (SPOILER: They all die in the first cutscene. Made my day) The gameplay is pretty cool, although lacking a jump bu… Continue

With one of my favorite series getting a sequel soon, Toy Story 3, I have been thinking of movies that I would love to see made. Some of these movies are sequels, with the first not really lending to a sequel, but I would very much like to see more of the story developed. I tried to think of movies that aren't in development, or even talked about, but movies I would just personally like to see.
A couple of these films are sequels, while most of these films are based off other things.

A little late to be sure, but I figured there's no better time than now. E3 2009 unveiled A LOT of great games to us and quite a few great trailers. I myself am a huge fan of trailers for games and movies since I find it an art form unto itself. With the right trailer, you can either build up just the right hype to make people curious enough to want the product or completely cement the fact your product will be awesome. Some trailers don't always work (especially when they tell you too much abou… Continue
On April 12 of this month porn legend Marilyn Chamber was found dead in her Southern California home by her 17 yr. old daughter. Remember 'Behind the Green Door?' A serious actress in the beginning, she fell into porn like so many others did, down on her luck financially and needing a job to pay the bills. Well evidently she enjoyed it because even though she made a lot of R-rated movies that played late-night on Skinemax After Dark, she continued to go back to porn for the old comeback. I think… Continue

Once again folks it is time for me to clean out my system and atke a massive, digital dump. Here's the highlights from this week's Wide World of Carlyle.
Over at AICN I have this week's big reviews.-Vin Diesel stars in a 13 year-old's BETTER version of Children of Men in BABYLON A.D. - The studio hates it, the director hates it and oh yes, Carlyle hates it!-Don't think I let Don Cheadle off the ho… Continue
Okay, so today I was sitting around watching the new hyper awesome, ass kicking extravaganza The Legend of the Shadowless Sword (which you've no doubt seen advertised on the site, but has NOTHING to do with this contest.) But not realizing I had it already, someone got it for me. So my extra copy (I'm keeping mine) is going to one of you lucky folks out there. So, now you're wondering: what the hell do I ha… Continue
