If it's crap ... We'll tell you
With the news that the upcoming Man of Steel will be the jump off point for DC to develop a Justice League movie I only had one question, how are they going to make Green Lantern work for it. It’s no secret that Green Lantern was a mediocre middle of the road movie that should have been Training Day in space rather than the blatant product placement Masters of the Universe-esque snooze-fest that it was. In comparison…Continue
That’s right we’ve passed the hump, so sit back, relax and enjoy episode 51 of Straight Outta Austin! 2013 has us anticipating several landmark comic book movies. We debate whether or not Warner Bros will ever get their act together to even make a Justice League movie and what a Justice League movie would even look like? But DC aren’t the only players in the game,…

Joe Manganiello as Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman. Okay, take away the beard and then you have an excellent person for Superman in a Justice League movie. Not only has he stated that he wanted to play Superman really badly in the upcoming Man of…Continue

Yesterday was a huge day for the people over at Marvel Studios. In addition to getting Joss Whedon to sign on to write and direct The Avengers 2, he is also now developing a new television series that will be set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and has also signed an exclusive three year contract with the studio to help them develop all of Marvel's projects between now…Continue
This fan film has a pretty cool fight scene between batman and captain america, the fighting obviously is not up to high film standards but is very good never the less.
Apart from this the ending is very well done as they please both marvel and dc fans along the way
Hope you all enjoy :D

Spill Dot Con is just around the corner (like... in three days), and hordes of you Spilleos are about to descend upon Austin like locusts unto Egypt.
Yeah, kinda like that.
Now, some of you are getting here early and may be looking for things to do to…Continue
First of all i doubt i found all of the audio, but i think i found just enough for anyone who wants to remix it into a song. Second is... its really not that funny. Because Leon did bring out some good reasons why the Avengers movie won't happen. Which you can read in his blog…Continue

We, the poozers of PCP, have been put on suspension by the Guardians of the universe after having lost the great Book of Oa. Once again, we've gotta stop going to Bangkok. As a result, we are going back to basic training for the Lantern Corps. We won't be going over the manual but, we will be having a crash course on the books that have gotten us this far in preparation for the big-screen adaptation. In brightest day...in blackest night...no…Continue

A few things about myself. It should be noted I'm typically a critical person, one reason I love this site so much. I become highly critical when glaring flaws appear in something I love. That so happened with anime; which once consumed my life I now on a regular basic despise. However, it's easier to make love than war, have friends than enemies.
So when plot comes along that caters to my interests, usually I'm willing to check it out.…Continue
Since I'm trying to build an active community of readers, I do realize the writing-focused posts can be a little cold. I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone (I hate that expression) by personalizing as well as expanding my base with a list I'm calling "People at the Top Of Their Game." Here, I'll be plugging some of my current favorite people in the media at the moment, which'll hopefully balance my criticisms in other posts with insight into what I enjoy. This probably won't be…Continue

"And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when several superhero stories found themselves united in a single article. On that day, 'Superhero Stories' was born - to contain the film and TV news no single blog post could withstand! Heed the call, then - for now...
Superhero Stories Assemble!"…

First off, let me say that after this week, I'm putting my foot down on going back to the 'only five on mike' rule, because this episode turns into a bit of a circus at points. But it was also the most I've laughed in as long as I can remember. Why? Well, we've got John Rubio in the house. And it's -N8's first…Continue
So when last we left our intrepid heroes, they had just left Africa, about to move on to denude the next country on their list. For those of you keeping score at home, that's four countries, with approximately eight drinks, in the span of an hour and a half.
As you may have heard, during a recent trip to Florida, Cat and I decided that we needed a quiet, romantic evening in Walt Disney World.
Of course, being LEOG members, this required booze. Lots of it! To Pleasure Island!!…
