WARM BODIES (e-Review)

(These corpses should read a lot of Nicholas Sparks’ books)

First of all, let’s not compare this to Twilight or those other horse spit girlie wet dream books because it’s not like that.…

21 & OVER (e-Review)

(No shoes, no shirt and they still got service)

The first minute set the bar high. Sadly, it’s very predictable, unoriginal and too sober. There is a tampon joke that’s so disgusting to the point that I hated it. The acting is good. The writing…

Ranking the Gotham Rogues: The Best and Worst of Christopher Nolan's Batman Villains

Of all the superheroes in all the world, Batman is one of the most iconic and legendary. Why is that? Is it his great fortune? His ultimate humanity? His unique symbol or quest for justice? Or is it partly the fact that he has spawned some of the greatest villains in all of modern literature, never minding their origins in comic book form? Yes, it is safe to say that Batman's rogues' gallery is arguably the greatest in all of comic books simply because each villain has a fascinating thing…

WRATH OF THE TITANS review

When "Clash Of The Titans" has been brought up in conversation, it's usually only being used as an example of bad post-conversion 3D. For me it was the worst 3D I've ever had in a theater as it was for many. The movie itself has been fading from memory. I haven't seen it since it came out two years ago and aside from it's crappy 3D, I cannot remember much about. "Clash Of The Titans" was bland and boring but it made enough money to justify a sequel leaving us with the second helping of…

50/50 Review

Trying to find humor in such a horrifying situation as having cancer or having someone that you love suffer with cancer is an incredibly tough thing to do but credit must be given to Seth Rogen, Jonathan Levine, Will Reiser and everyone else involved in the making of this film for pulling it off tremendously. This is a concept that could've gone horribly wrong if it was made in the wrong hands but the movie and the filmmakers know what they're attempting to do and therefore the story manages…

Two Stephen King Projects on the Horizon

"It's good to be the King!" Acclaimed author Stephen King (or at least his agent) has been very busy as of late. While plans to bring his 'Dark Tower' series of books to TV and film has sadly fizzled out due to budget concerns, we have breaking news of two brand new projects being put into development that…

Caleb Kahn's Thoughts on the Shortlist of Directors for The Man of Steel

Well, I know it seems like I'm doing a lot of blogs for a guy who doesn't seem to be that fond of Superman all that much but I'm sorry, it's weird for me too. Maybe it's the fact that I am a HUGE Christopher Nolan fan (even though I haven't seen Memento, I know, I know) and I can't get the vision of a darker Superman out of my head even though David S. Goyer said that the films would be "modern...believable...fun". I even balked at…

Could It Be Considered Doomsday Soon for Superman Fans?

As many of you know already, last year (or earlier this year, I'm not entirely sure) the estates of creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster claimed back the rights to Superman's origin, so Warner Bros./DC can never make a comic, TV show, or movie about Superman's origin again (unless maybe without their approval). Well, it seems like we may never see another Superman movie entirely which puts Christopher Nolan and Co.'s…

Jonathan Nolan (Dark Knight Writer) Confirmed as Lead Writer of Terminator Salvation

Jonathan Nolan (God/Writer of Dark Knight)

Recently when questioned about Terminator Salvation, McG confirmed that Jonathan Nolan (Writer of Dark Knight) did "...the heaviest lifting.." when it came to the T4 script.

Anyone else here just suddenly squealed with delight from this? I remember T3 being so-so, but pure crap when compared to T2 or 1. Now it has been written by a guy who can write pure gold. With Christian Bale as… Continue

Preeeeeesenting..."Mandrake the Magician!!"

Okay, some of you are old enough to know old Sesame Street are old enough (or geeky enough) to know the great Mandrake the Magician?

Mandrake the Magician is a U.S. comic strip created in 1934 by Lee Falk (also creator of The Phantom) and mainly appearing in syndication in newspapers. Falk soon gave the job of drawing the comic strip to artist Phil Davis, while continuing to write the storylines. Davis worked on the strip until… Continue
