“Up In The Air” is a fantastic new film by Jason Reitman. It includes some deep characters and an even deeper look at the modern day world. The hard-to-deal-with issues related to unemployment and the plummeted economy are showcased in a more humorous light. The character development of the movie is close-to-perfect and the entire film itself equals out to be an experience that is… Continue
Up in the air is a sassy, funny cheeky grown up romantic comedy but please dont let those words put you off seeing this film. It not like most other romantic comedies it dosnt have the same predictable formula (the first meeting, getting to know eachother, the break up and eventual shining happy ending. No this movie is very funny and hilarious at points the smart ass back and forth between the characters is fantastic not one bit shy. George Clooney is as usual on great form and charming Vera… Continue

Well would you look at this - a call in show in two weeks! Could this be turning into a regular thing? I had fun this week hanging with you Spllios, although there still seems to be a problem with a little drop out every now and then. Fortunately none of that came through on the recording, so most of you are actually getting a smoother experience here. Except for the dropped call that brought the show to an abrupt end. My apologies to the lovely Anika. Hope to hear from you next… Continue
We have only had glimpses of what's in store for the Alice In Wonderland film, set to come out March 5th.
But we have had NO news on the soundtrack, until now. The track list for the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack has been announced with popular artists such as Owl City, 3OH!3,The Plain White T's All-American Rejects, and Avril Lavigne who will be featured on this soundtrack which will be entitled, "Almost Alice". Avril's song "Alice (Underground)" will be the first single to be released… Continue
Different movies is coming in 2010 and it looks to be another good year for movies, both movies with big and those with not so big names.
I have been surfing the net and found some of the planned titles for next year like a new Harry Potter movie staring daniel radcliffe and Iron Man 2 a new comic book movie with Roger Downey Jr. I have also found others which i have listed below and so far this looks really promising.
Harry Potter and the Deadly Hollows Part 1… Continue
After being asked over the past several months "When will there be another call in show?" I decided to not only try to be more consistent with them but to also try and post them after they've been recorded. If this goes well I'll do my best to do more call in shows. If not they hey, it won't be the first time we've tried an idea that didn't fly. I leave the decision all up to you members.… Continue
Sometimes a movie will come along that's hard to pin down, much like this one. The trailers sell it as a potentially raunchy, run-of-the-mill teen sex comedy with an interesting hook. But it's not as Hollywood as it would seem. For one thing, it stars Michael Cera, who, while he is a fairly big-name actor, generally stars in indie movies, like Juno and Paper Heart, which might make some people think this is more of an indie flick than a big budget… Continue

2009 has now ended, with quite a few decent, and not so decent entries into moviedomia. 2010 looks promising though with a lot of promising motion pictures looking to sweep though your local cinema this year, here are my picks of what I am most hopeful, of not sucking.
10) Alice in Wonderland
This just barely made the list, mainly because I was so hopeful for this film until I saw the theatrical trailer, it… Continue
The classic story "Alice in Wonderland" and "Alice through the looking Glass" both written by Lewis Carol will soon by released March 5th 2010 as "Alice in Wonderland" directed by Tim Burton. There is being Merchandise such as clothing, purses, jewelry, and school supplies are now being released, thanks to the punk fashion store Hot Topic. But now even New posters are being released. These are what you could consider, spin-offs of the newest Alice in Wonderland poster that was released in bits,… Continue

2009 was a great year for film. It was chalk full of excellent performances, clever and orginal stories, as well as the return AND success of stop motion animation. Most of all of the critically acclaimed and award fron-runner films have their high points and low points, which can make things difficult when deciding on which films were the best or which films should recieve awards. Speaking of awards, 2009 is one of those rare years… Continue

I decided that instead of a Top 10 list (which would piss off the likes of Leon), I will simply go through all the films I've seen this year in chronological order of their release date from January to December; this is gonna be a long one.
January
Paul Blart: Mall Cop: Twelve months ago, 2009 wasn't looking too hot when this became the first big blockbuster of the year. I waited until my sisters rented this during the… Continue
Shrek 4, or as it's now known as "Shrek Forever After" and previously "Shrek Goes Forth" has finally gotten a trailer to keep all the fans happy. Looks like all the cast are reprising their roles once again, and the story looks to be about Shrek getting trapped in some form of a parrallel universe where all the other characters are either completely unaware of him or have changed slightly. I hope that it's A LOT better than "Shrek the Third" because to be quite honest, it sucked. (My opinion… Continue

If you’d ask me to describe the last few weeks in movies, my one word would probably be Frustranxious. Not the least due to the fact that this week James Cameron’s AVATAR was screened to the select few, including some of the press that I frequently read. It looks like the film is actually going to deliver, unlike recent films such as Wolverine Origins and Terminator Salvation. As you know, I really can’t wait to see Avatar, so the combination of… Continue

I like zombie films. In fact, I love zombie films, in particular I love the classic ‘Dead’ trilogy that came from the awesome mind of the Deadfather, George A. Romero. Hell, I even like 'Land of the Dead'. It’s a fun entry into the series. Sure, it’s not up to the greatness of those first three but it’s enjoyable none the less and it really only missed one trick and that is that it should have had Bob Hoskins in it. Then it would have been an awesome 'Super Mario Bros' reunion. Who wouldn’t… Continue

Alice in Wonderland set to come out March 5 2010, has already spread through out different places through the world, such as merchandise from Hot Topic, to showing their trailers in 3-D. But Alice in Wonderland is even influencing the world of music. Popular Fueled by Ramen band, Paramore, has released a new video (directed by Meiert Avis) for their newest single "Brick by Boring Brick, off of their newest rock album "Brand New Eyes." The beautiful video includes many Alice in Wonderland… Continue
I don’t think it’ll come as much of a shock that I think this has been a pretty bad year for films. Sure, there was 'Star Trek' and I liked 'Watchmen' more than some internet folks seemed to but things like 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' and 'Friday the 13th' just can’t be overlooked and oh how I wish they could be. I held out hope, however, for one shining jewel in this sea of mediocrity and downright awfulness and that hope lay in the hands of a movie set in South Africa which was odd… Continue
