A new Heroes was on tonight and we had a great action packed episode. What I thought was a good episode worthy of the last one of the year. We even got a Peter-Sylar fight, something every fan has been clam-mering for since the end of season one.
Samuel makes Eli the multiplier his new right hand man, aka the new Edgar. Claire follows the compass she stole from Noah all the way to the carnival. Samuel meets Claire and continues trying to get her to join the carnival and she and Gretchen go arou… Continue
This week's episode of Heroes was the first holiday themed episode, a Thanksgiving episode. It involved three major families setting down to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner, the Bennett's, Samuel's family, and the Petrelli's
With the Bennett's we see Noah in a grocery store inviting Claire to Thanksgiving dinner so he doesn't have to be alone with Sandra and her Boyfriend, Doug. At the store he runs into his old partner, Lauren, who he invites to dinner to "reconnect". This scene kinda did what I hop… Continue

1. Who are you?
My name is Ozma of Oz! I am a lover of weird movies, Jim Henson Muppets, Swedish Fish, cream soda and of course, comic books. When I am not drooling over Batman, Superman or the Martian Man Hunter, I'm attending college trying to get through and hopefully, waiting for the day I am able to move out of the house. My name comes from the young Princess Ruler of Oz named Ozma and yes, there is a princess of Oz. Read the books and you'll find out about her.
2. How did you fi… Continue
Here at Mike and Razz’s blog, are slogan is “We tell you what’s good, what’s bad, and what we think should happen.” Well, we’ve gone good on reviews, but we haven’t really told you what we think should happen other than that occasional comments throughout the reviews. Well tonight after chatting for a bit, I’m happy to tell you about new segment called, Our Canonverse. This is basically what me and razz think should happen in our favorite shows regardless of the plausibility of what comes next.… Continue

Ok this weeks episode of Heroes was a huge episode, so lets just get right to it. Peter and Nathan are discussing his "missing carnival weekend" and discover that Angela has covered for him by saying he was on vacation. The Haitian, and I'm not calling him by his name, shows up and explains to Peter that Angela wants her mind wiped but tells him that he needs to make that decision after he sees a certain storage shed. When Nathan and Peter arrive they discover Nathans "real" body. Nathan touches… Continue

This is our first joint review. Razz's part is first, Mike's is after the dashes. Let's get started, shall we?
Heroes came back with Tabula Rasa on Monday, pretty good especially the Sylar/Gabriel scenes. Rather than going through scene by scene I would rather go through it by characters since Heroes is a very character centric show.
Hiro awakens to find Peter has taken him to the hospital. Peter believes Hiro came to him in order to be saved. so peter goes off for help after taking Hiro's ab… Continue

Wow, talk about an awesome convention. It's my first one ever, and I must say I couldn't ask for more out of it. Since it's kinda hard for me to put it all in words, I'm just gonna put some bulletins on the main things and elaborate on them later.
1. Loads of comics up the ass.
2. I bought lots of cool stuff (will elaborate later)
3. People with cool costumes showed up.
4. I met BRIAN MICHEAL BENDIS!!!
5. Brian Micheal Bendis gave me a cookie :0. (Seriously, he did.)

A little late to be sure, but I figured there's no better time than now. E3 2009 unveiled A LOT of great games to us and quite a few great trailers. I myself am a huge fan of trailers for games and movies since I find it an art form unto itself. With the right trailer, you can either build up just the right hype to make people curious enough to want the product or completely cement the fact your product will be awesome. Some trailers don't always work (especially when they tell you too much abou… Continue
Over the past year or so since we heared about the superman reboot, I got to thinking. Since I'm an aspiring writer, I thought I might take a crack at coming up with an idea for the reboot. I came up with a new trilogy that I thought would be pretty cool. Since the actual job of the w… Continue

Co-Creator Of ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Reveals More Details About New Film
That sound you heard last week? That was millions of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” fans yelling “Cowabunga!” at the news that the famous Heroes in a Half Shell would be returning to the big screen in a new movie scheduled to hit theaters in… Continue
We all know that female characters, even hero main characters, are heavily sexualized because sex sells. So instead of characters that are anywhere near reality we get this
I like soundtracks. I mean, I really like them. The majority of my albums that are on my iPod right now are either soundtracks or from Overclocked ReMix. But very rarely do I actually find a TV soundtrack that I like that I’m willing to buy and own. Now, I have had my share of ass moves by TV studios like what Cartoon Network did with their first Powerpuff Girls album. But I’ve also found those rare gems of TV soundtracks that actually have the score f… Continue

I went to go see Watchmen on opening night, and so here is my review of one of the most anticipated movies of the year...that will more than likely be forgotten by mid-June. Because while I really dug it, a lot of others didn't. And the fact that this is the first real super hero movie since the masterpiece that is The Dark Knight (fuck The Spirit) makes it seem even wors… Continue
Back when I wrote my review for "Spider-Man Magazine #3", I stated that while they were flawed, I still liked Marvel's youth oriented comics mainly for what they were trying to do. I now feel the need t… Continue

Here I was expecting to see some really cool action movie but instead I saw this.
This movie is about a girl who is a Pusher (a person who controls minds [why they call them Pushers instead of say Puppet masters or Control or something that at least implies control over someone else]) that gets an upgrade juice that supposedly makes your power many times stronger. Now the US government agency known as Division (who somehow have a command base in Hong Kong [I think the Chinese… Continue

According to E! Online's Kristen two of the Heroes cast are looking to get out; it's both Hayden Panettiere and Ali Larter. Both stars feel as though their characters have drawn the short straws in Series 3, and they want to be killed off at the end of Series 4. At least one of them has a "death" in the works for the end of the season, but it may not be permanent. And NBC hasn't decided whether to let them out of their contracts yet.

Not too long ago here on Spill there was a blog post slash article slash break up slash hate letter to the TV show Heroes, saying that the show had gone downhill since the end of the first season. I disagreed with that statement, as I thought while the show hasn't recaptured the awesomeness of the first season since it's premier in 2006, I see this as nothing more than what every show goes through. Very fe… Continue
This is a list of heroes that have a take no shit style about them, rather then the goody good style of such heroes like Superman / Spider-Man / Mr Miyagi / Yoda / Luke Skywalker / Gandalf ect. As great as these Heroes are this is more of a list of people you DO NOT want to piss off.
KEEPING IN MIND i try and keep it one style of film for each person to make it otherwise they would all be Cop film heroes

2009 was a slow year in movies for me. Mainly cause I haven't been able to go see a lot of movies this year, but also, there wasn't much that I was extremely excited to go see. But here's my top 5 movies of the year. Note that there is a few movies…
