Usually when people talk about hangovers they usually meant about the day after drinking a lot. In this case The Hangover is the most ingenious comedy I've seen in the year. Directed by Todd Phillips, The Hangover contains all kind of comedy and humor existed in this world. It is an hour and a half full of laughs. It is cleverly written, Two days before his wedding, Doug and his three friends drive to Las Vegas for a blow-out bachelor party they'll never forget. The movie follows a fast paced rh… Continue

I consider this summerto be a summerof ups and downs. For most people downs, but there were good and great films this year. It seems the big budget overly hyped films were the let downs. This list is to reconize the best of this summer.
10. Public Enemies Rating: Matinee

It’s currently 3:35 pm here and around 9:35 am in America I arrived here Wednesday the major pain I had coming here was the 8 hour plane ride from Chicago at 8:30pm to Heathrow at 4:45 (10:45 after you set your clock 6 hours ahead.) My brother’s luggage being picked up by a older women luckily for him we got it back. Then the frightening 2 hour bus ride where I was worried that the bus would hit the other cars.
So far we bought a car get this if you don’t have insurance for your car they won’t… Continue

District 9 has truly reigned supreme this past weekend. Receiving glowing reviews from the Spill crew and members, and many other film critics, the film has also becoming #1 at the box office making $37 million, already making up profit after its small budget. On IMDB, it has broken through the top 250 list at #78, the fourth film of this year to do so. So with the summer drawing to a close, the question remains: Is District 9 the best film of Summer 2009?
Well, let's look at the other contende… Continue
Todd Phillip’s The Hangover works like Christopher Nolan’s Memento if you replace Guy Pearce with three hung-over friends and replace the death of his girlfriend with the disappearance of their friend. And if you were to set in Las Vegas. With lots of sleazy humour.
The film follows three friends; schoolteacher Phil (Bradley Cooper), dentist Stu (Ed Helms)… Continue

Hey Spill, long time no see! Now that school's out (...for... SUMMER! [insert awesome guitar riff here]), I have all the time in the world to write for the site!
So... where was I?
Oh yeah, the Summer Movie Season!
If you recall my (featured, much-commented) article posted in April meant to determine which film would be the highest-grosser of the Summer (maybe the year), I made some (very detailed) analysis of many of the summer's big movies. By now, some are done and over with, some are on t… Continue
This could be the prequl to the passion of the christ, the diciples lose jesus after having too much wine after the last supper, so they try to find him, not really a happy ending though.
Every year a comedy comes out that is funny no matter how many times I've seen it;

The Hangover was a great movie. The dialouge was well written and there wasn't a part I wasn't laughing at. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis were great in their leading roles. The supporting cast was great as well, including a hiliarious cameo by Mike Tyson. In the end, The hangover is a hiliarious summer comedy that should not be missed. I will be quoting this movie for a long time and look forward to seeing it a second time. Continue
"The Hangover" was the wildcard movie for me when I first saw the trailer. It was funny, but I still had a thought in the back of my head like it was going to be a typical road-trip like movie with tons of the same elements. But like the Spill Reviews may have informed you, it's actually more like a comedic mystery movie where they have to backtrack to find out what happens. And you get involved with what exactly happened that night when they got hammered beyond belief.
Most of you know the pre… Continue
