C.H. Gorog Modern Warfare 2 review with CH Gorog...

Man, this review is going to look like crap in comparison to Predator's Batman vs. The Terminator blog. While everyone knew the first Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare would do well in sales, it's hard to say if anyone could have predicted the epic sales of the game. With a well done single-player and a multiplayer experience that rivaled even the mighty Halo 3, Infinity Ward gave the proverbial middle finger to Treyarch, who took over their role for developers on Call of Duty 3Continue

PoisonPirate More Epic Mickey Pictures and Information

Disney Interactive Studios will be releasing Epic Mickey for Wii in fall 2010. Warren Spector is intending to show us the darker side of Mickey Mouse. He lives along with some other forgotten Disney characters who live in a Fantasia world created by a sorcerer Yen Sid (Disney backwards). The Plot involves Mickey dealing with Oswald the rabbit seeking his revenge. He literally was Walt Disney's first cartoon creation but when Disney lost the rights to the character gave him up and began making c… Continue

C.H. Gorog VGE: Where The Wild Things Are...

Photobucket Welcome to Video Game Equivalent, where I try to find you an equal to a movie, book, show, or comic in video game form. To me, Where The Wild Things Are captures the feelings of youth and innocence. To capture such imagination and scope is a real feat. Wi… Continue

C.H. Gorog Brütal Legend review with CH Gorog....

Wow. Just...just wow. If you thought Rock Band gave you false hopes about being a guitar god, prepare to become a believer for the Church of Brütal Legend.

If you have talked to me about video games, you may know I ADORE Tim Schafer. Working under Lucasarts to create some of the most memorable games in gaming history (Grim Fandango, The Secret of Monkey IsContinue

Charlie Dirkx Brutal Legend Review

Tim Schaefer. What do you think about when you hear this name? The creator of games like Grim Fandango and Psychonauts? That chubby dude with a beard? Nothing? Well, Tim Schaefer has a new title. The creator of Brutal Legend, one of the best games I've played this year. The Good: The story is a big focus of this game (as is in any other Schaefer game), and it's great. A lot of reviews have been saying that the humor peters out near the end, but I think the final confrontation had some of the fu… Continue

QbanKnight Call of Duty: The Movie and Possibilities

Well, I suppose it was inevitable. Yes dear friends, it seems Activision, the publisher of the popular video game series, Call of Duty, filed a trademark to reserve the rights to a movie based on the franchise. Now, I for one have stated several times that video game movies suck and will continue to suck but a little part of me wants this venture to succeed. The reason being is, unlike many… Continue

SpicyDonut B-movie spot: Wild Zero

Camp... but awesome camp. The superhero rockstar, guitar wolf, fights alien zombie spawn and save the world. Pretty much japanese awesome over the top stuff at its best/worst. I mean your never gonna see a 50's greaser rockstar fight zombies in an american film... and if we do, it wont have the same spark this did. The funniest bit was the hero, a nerdy kid trying to be as cool as guitar wolf. He gets hurt trying to fight for rock and roll and guitar wolf gives him a magic wh… Continue

C.H. Gorog Halo 3: ODST review with CH Gorog...

There are two camps of thought when it comes to opinions about the Halo franchise. Either it's a reinvigorating and innovative FPS that deserves the utmost praise, or the camp which believes that Halo is the unsightly stain on the wedding gown of video games; If you know me, you'll know I fall into the former camp.

After the disappointing single-player in Halo 3,… Continue

QbanKnight Guitar Hero 5's Stupid Controversy

While I know this isn't really movie news, I am aware that many people on this site are quite familiar with video games. The Guitar Hero franchise is very well known with them as is the rest of the known world. The recent installment, cleverly titled "Guitar Hero 5", has stirred up some controversy via Courtney Love. Last week, she posted several nasty (and pretty much grammatically incorrect)… Continue

Zeek Slider The District 9 Aliens Invade EA/Maxis Game

For those unfamiliar with PC gaming as of right now, there is a game out there by Maxis and distributed by EA called Spore. It’s pretty much Will Wright’s last project before he retired to focus on other things and can be best described as Sim Everything. You start out as a single cell microb and then evolve your way into a galactic race capable of beaming down onto other planets and abdu… Continue

C.H. Gorog Batman: Arkham Asylum review with CH Gorog...

I've been getting pretty damn sick of Batman. From the rabid fanboys slobbering over any information over the sequel to The Dark Knight to Batman's WTH departure from the comic world (for a while at least), I haven't exactly been deprived of seeing the caped crusader in my life. When I heard that a new video game would star the Dark Knight, I wasn't exactly thrilled since his… Continue

MrCix COMPLETEd BATMAN ARKHAM ASYLUM REVIEW

This review is brought to you by Mr.Cix Today we're reviewing: "Batman: Arkham Asylum" O_O Oh God this game has it all!! Sex, blow, million dollar hookers, and stolen children's candy. Ok.. This game has none of that but still its awesome!! Story: The Batman fresh from catching his archenemy the Joker, rushes him back to Arkham Asylum. After sensing something is fishy because he felt he "gave up almost without a fight", Batman decides to escort him as far i… Continue
