Do you hear my voice in your head?
I know you can read my thoughts...or at least, you think you can.
I am standing in front of you, why not just ask?
Are you scared of seeing me?
I am more than just a whisper in your ear.
I am more than just a physical presence.
I am more than just the cells in my body.
I am more than just the blood running through my veins.
See me.
Don't just look at me as the object of your desire,
Don't just hear the words I say,
Don't just judge me - in fact, don't judge m… Continue

Ok so I will review something that there is no way anyone who missed it can go back and see. Unless they release it on DVD...Well I just got back from a great event of Rifftrax live. For those of you who don't know there was once a great show called "Mystery Science Theater 3000"; a show that made fun of bad movies. Instead of accepting the cancellation of their show some of the writers/actors decided to make fun of more modern movies that can be downloaded from… Continue

Jerome Bixby worked on this film for almost forty years; finishing just before he passed away in 1998. The Man from Earth (2007) is his final work of a long successful career including writing for Twilight Zone and Star Trek.
I consider it a sleeper as it is not widely known and when you start it you are somewhat skeptical the film will even be worth finishing. How wrong and pleasantly surprised was I, now considering it by far as my favorite sci-fi films of all time. The acting is exceptional… Continue

Dewayne 'the Rock' Johnson staked his claim in this PG-rated Disney adventure. It's a great movie, every bit as good as it's 70's counterparts 'Escape To Witch Mountain' and 'Return From Witch Mountain.' From the onset it's non-stop action as Dewayne a down on his luck racecar driver/ex-con is stuck in Sin City driving a cab. He meets up with said kid aliens and from there the adventure starts. The Rock does good for himself in stretching his acting chops (which I've always thought he was pretty… Continue

Ah the Criterion collection. Possibly the most addicting DVD collection ever? I say yes. With all the super cool packaging, special features, booklets, and all the other crap you could want. The only downside is that dang price tag. Last night i paid 24 bucks for The Blob and 32 dollars for Rushmore but i know it will all be worth it.
Lately i have been watching about 2 or 3 films in the Criterion Collection via public libraries. Some have been awesome some i will never know why people pay 40 b… Continue

Hulk vs Wolverine is a pretty good movie, I'm not too familar with the comics as i'm pretty much a Animated Series guy.
I thought the animation was really good and the best thing is Wolverine gets to freaking stab people!
But that brings me to my first problem, so many times Hulk would get stabbed and sliced and then in the next scene all those cuts and blood will disappear as if t… Continue

How many ways can I say brilliant? M. Knight does it again! After his smash hit with lady in the water I didn't think he could pull off another PERFECT film such as this one! This movie is about some sort of occurrence in which people stop dead in their tracks and start spouting beautifully artistic soliloquies before taking their own life, all against their own will. The film begins with one of these elegantly crafted sequences followed by a short educational scene, and then descends into extreme… Continue
