Fling (2008) is also known as Lie to Me abroad and explores the alternative lifestyle of an open relationship. Samantha (Courtney Ford) and Mason (Steve Sandvoss) are both successful in their work and on the outside appear to be in a loving relationship; and they are. They laugh, go out, live together, and have a strong bond unlike many couples. A few of their friends and co-workers know that they have a very open relationship, not only seeing other people for one night or many, but even...…

Blade Runner Review
Rotten Tomatoes rating: 94%
My rating: Better than Sex!

When you get this it is important it is the Final Cut, it is the finest way to see this movie and is closest to Ridley Scott’s vision. I say that because this really is a film set apart from its source. Based on the Phillip K. Dick story ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’, Blade Runner b…

Hey everybody, this is the first in looooong series of movie reviews of whatever I order off of Netflix. As a warning, every one of these reviews will by nature have massive spoilers.
Blade Runner: The Final Cut
You know, as I said earlier, these are mostly reviews of movies that I get off of Netflix. Now you might say, "Well, if you choose what you order, you would choose good movies, right?" Well yes. Yes I would. But sometimes I get surprised by a movie that is so awful that it makes me hat…

In recent years, I’ve noticed that Hollywood’s leading men have gotten, on average, less cool. They’ve become less macho, less masculine, less manly. And, it seems as though the man’s man is a dying breed in film.
Now, the man’s man, isn’t quite what it sounds like. He is NOT gay. (Please note, I have nothing against those who are. However, the man’s man is simply straight as can be.)
The man’s man is the embodiment of masculinity. He’s not pretty, he’s not out to get the girl (she just happen…

More on Potential Future for Indiana Jones
Source: AP Television, Variety August 8, 2008
Last week, The Sunday in UK had a brief interview with George Lucas talking about the potential of doing a fifth Indiana Jones movie. The fourth movie is looking to be this year's third biggest movie, having grossed over $300 million, but you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who will actually admit to liking the movie. Still, Lucas seems hellbent on carrying on if they can find an idea that works for…

*Spoilers* Now that our dear professor is so old now that he probably views sex as an annoyance rather than an opprotunity, it appears to be that many people are outraged at Indiana's most recent outing in
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls.
The most outright complaint is that some infer the implausibility of Indiana's stunts performed in the movie such as surviving a nuclear blast in a fridge or managing to still be alive after his boat seemingly falls not once, but THR…

Chase asks: Hey Carlyle whats up? I don't know if it is true but when I walked out of the new Indiana Jones flick I overheard someone saying there is already a 5th one in the works is this true??
Undetermined. For now I'm going to say no, because there is nothing official. What happened was this: during an interview at Cannes,
George Lucas responded to a question with this carefully planned bombshell.

The wait for a new Indiana Jones movie is finally over, after 20 years at last it's in theaters the latest Indy adventure and it was just as expected. A really good mix of Lucas production, Spielberg's direction, Harrison Ford again as Indiana Jones and the new addition of Shia LaBeouf makes this film a real success. A movie full of action, adventure, really good moments of humor, nice twists and really good special effects. The direction of Spielberg is splendid, I must applaud his job in this…

Review for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
After the cinematic returns of Star Wars, Terminator, Rocky, Die Hard and Rambo, it was just about time for Indiana Jones to follow. And I’m glad to say that the new film, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, is a worthy addition to this legendary franchise.
The story is set in 1957, so it is a bit different in tone to the first three. As they were homage to 1930s republic serials, this one is more in tone to 1950s B-Movies, and that is a…
