'Dredd 2' Still A Possibility?

I'm not sure if it's more frustrating when a terrible film makes towers and towers of cash, or when fantastic, deserving films flop. Last year, Karl Urban stepped into the role of comicbook enforcer Judge…

BF3 Fans: The Most Butthurt People in the WORLD

Another year, another summer spent with fans of Modern Warfare and Battlefield bickering at each other over which game is better. Well, the reviews for Battlefield 3 are slowly trickling in and the Battlefield 3 fanboys are in outrage. "Only reason IGN didn't give it a 10/10 is because they didn't want to upset cod fanboys, fucking pussys." "YOU GAVE THE BEST GAME A 9 CAUSE OF THE ACTION PACKED CAMPAIGN. FUCK IT NEVER WATCHING IGN REVIEWS AGAIN." These are just a few comments I pulled out…

Audiences whoring out money to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Harry Potter is a worldwide phenomenon. It's unbearable at times. I have read all the books and I enjoy them, but I'm not a raving fan. Though I did go to Universal Studios and did go to the Harry Potter section in the park, and enjoyed it a lot ot felt like the movie. In terms of the films the list goes like this for me:

1) Prizoner of Azkaban (2004)

2) Order of…

Oh, New Moon... Why do You Have So Many Fans?

Everyone knows about all the hype and the story.

New Moon is a sequel to the movie Twilight from last year at the same time, based on a popular book series by Stephenie Meyer.

When the first book came out, i read it in middle school. And I used to like it a lot. Then i grew up and realized what 'selfish bitch' meant and i stopped liking it.

I feel bad for a lot of guys.

And I say this over and over... But it is oh so very very true.

You all have to… Continue

Hey Mets fans, it's time to believe in curses.

In 1969 at Shea stadium in a game between the Mets and the then division rival Cubs a black cat jumped out of the seats and walked back and forth in front of the Chicago dugout. This preceded a completely unpredictable run by those'69 Mets that led to a huge upset of the Cubs who had been dominating the division all year.

Shea stadium has been known for it's "wild life" for years. It had been infested with rats and mice since it's inception in 1964. The vermin was an all out… Continue

Twilight Fans Get a Little Creepy

"Fan Made: Bella's Womb from "Twilight" (aka creepiest "fan made" ever)

We've been writing these little Fan Made posts for awhile now, and although I'd like to think that I've seen just about everything you wacky fans can come up with, this little nugget of fandom came along and just about cost me my breakfast. Oh yes, one creative (and creepy) Twilight fan actually took the time to felt together Bella's womb, complete with -- wait for it -- an actual felted mutant fetus inside! Who… Continue

Does Another New Year Lower The Quality of Film?

Every discipline practiced today has had its era of greatness and rebirth. Art, literature, and education had its own renaissance era that flourished for over three hundred years. Film, in particular, has also had its own moments of glory and renewal. From the 1920's all the way through to the 1980's, movies were in their prime, exhibiting amazing stories that would later be embraced by modern culture. During these years, many of the classics we know and love were developed. Films like The… Continue
