The Simpsons: Season 21: Bart gets a Z
Well, I hate to be that guy who thinks the Simpsons has lost it's luster but ... it's true.
This episode starts with Bart and the school students angry at Mrs. Krabappel for confiscating their cell phones and so to retaliate, they get her drunk and fi… Continue

The Simpsons: Season 21: Homer the Whopper
Well once more The Simpson's is parodying Hollywood and super hero's, but can you blame them? I don't think they can do anything anymore without being a retread of an older episode… Continue
The Simpsons: When are they going to learn that they are OUT OF IDEAS??? I have yet to see anything remotely similar to a good episode last season, and by the looks of tonight’s premier, I don’t hold any hope for this season. Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg (who wrote “Superbad”) wrote the first episode. I had already read a brief synopsis of the episode beforehand, and looked forward in anticipation. I was let down. I’m sorry, but this really was not funny. And Seth’s character was equally as unfu… Continue

A little while ago, a fellow Spiller (whose name I have forgotten--my apologies) wrote a blog called "Anime That Anyone Can Enjoy". It was filled with the usual titles I see on lists like these. Bebop, for example, was high on the list. It was a good list.
But not entirely… Continue

Let's face it; in our current economic situation there are very few things that there are to smile about. Cupcakes, Gremlins, porn maybe. But one of the few things that should make us smile are movies; but in the still very young year there have been about 90% mediocre to just flat out bullshit movies put out & we're already halfway through the year. I'll be the first to admit I was suffering from a disease that I know most of the people on the site were suffering from called D.K.S.(Dark Kni… Continue
Dewayne 'the Rock' Johnson staked his claim in this PG-rated Disney adventure. It's a great movie, every bit as good as it's 70's counterparts 'Escape To Witch Mountain' and 'Return From Witch Mountain.' From the onset it's non-stop action as Dewayne a down on his luck racecar driver/ex-con is stuck in Sin City driving a cab. He meets up with said kid aliens and from there the adventure starts. The Rock does good for himself in stretching his acting chops (which I've always thought he was pretty… Continue
