1. Who are you?
My name is Ozma of Oz! I am a lover of weird movies, Jim Henson Muppets, Swedish Fish, cream soda and of course, comic books. When I am not drooling over Batman, Superman or the Martian Man Hunter, I'm attending college trying to get through and hopefully, waiting for the day I am able to move out of the house. My name comes from the young Princess Ruler of Oz named Ozma and yes, there is a princess of Oz. Read the books and you'll find out about her.
2. How did you fi…

My fellow spilldos....The Time has Come to Make Our Voices Heard !!
There has been too much suffering in the Marvel Studio, and we need to put an
END to it !!!
It's time we take a more active role and let the executives at Disney and Marvel know how we feel.
No more blaming on incompetent directors, No more blaming on arrogant studios, No more blaming on Korey "the vacuum molester" Coleman,
NO MORE !!!
Now, my brothers...will you join me ? Or will
YOU let
them…

DC vs. Marvel (First of 4): The Characters

It’s like Burger King vs McDonalds, like Cats vs. Dogs, like Kanye West vs. Award Shows. I’m typing about DC vs. Marvel. The two biggest comic book companies in the world have been in competition for as long as I can remember. The competit…

Hey once again, this is Mr.Burn Notice bringing you an early review of the new animated movie from DC, Superman/Batman:Public Enemies. This movie is based on the graphic novel by the same title written by, everybody favorite writer, Jeph Loeb. Now before you get all down on this movie before we even start the review, the graphic novel isn't bad. But it isn't great either. It's really your opinion. But we aren't here to review the graphic novel, we are here to review...…

I just done my first play through of batman arkham asylum (just around the 9 hour mark). What can I say this game just by videogame standards (disregarding the comic book stuff for now) is great its right up there with games such as metal gear solid and devil may cry as well as uncharted. As a comic book based videogame this to me is to video games what batman mask of the phantasm is to the animated world (yes it is that much fun to play and go through). I strongly recommend you got out and buy…

For the past two decades, Batman's media presence has been painted with a dark coat of seriousness. From Burton's Batman, to Bruce Timm's animated Batman, to Nolan's Dark Knight, every single interpretation since 1989 portrays him as the most serious DC superhero. It's almost as if the franchise is trying to makeup for Adam West's Batman. But now the time is right for a…

The first introductiong to the lanterns for me is watching the JLA and JLU series done by the animation guys from DC under the leadership of Bruce Tim. So, to me green lantern has always been john stewart and will always be. I haven't read any of the comics such as green lantern rebirth, secret origins etc... all done by G.Johns which i hear are great.
So, I'm coming into this movie pretty fresh in regards to the comic history.
This movie I enjoyed as much as watching Titain A.E (if you haven't…

Over the past year or so since we heared about the superman reboot, I got to thinking. Since I'm an aspiring writer, I thought I might take a crack at coming up with an idea for the reboot. I came up with a new trilogy that I thought would be pretty cool. Since the actual job of the w…

Hey, before I begin this review, I want to point out that I originally posted it on my site Crap Culture (http://www.crapculture.ca/results.php?findthis=Mike%20M.) but since no one on that site seems to like comics, I decided to post it here to see if you guys liked it. If you do like it, please check out my website and tell me what other articles you think you'd like to see here.
Thanks.

How many graphic novels can you name that would count as literature? There's
Watchmen, naturally. And
Maus, you can't forget that one! Oh, and
The Dark Knight Returns... and eh...
Persepolis... that would count too... hmmm. The high art of graphic novels sort of stops a…

With everything that has happened with the whole crisis thing the green lantern story line and now the Batman R.I.P. , its like what is a guy to do with all the DC story being tossed around like so much confetti. now don't get me wrong, i am a die hard DC fan, but with everything that's been going on as of late i find myself a bit lost. i know there a ton of tie-ins and things of that nature but i think at some point you have to say enough is enough and just kind of walk away for a bit and let t…
