The Half Blood prince, the sixth and latest adaptation from Harry Potter's books in my opinion was the lamest and most dissapointing movie of all six. At least the previous five has tons of action, adventure and humor. But this one is two hours and a half of the same boredome story. It is a flat plot that never advances and the lame excuse or romance make the film ridiculously cheesy. The very few of special effects that the movie has were very good. The cast were good but their performances in…

Returning once again to the world of J.K. Rowling, my expectations were pretty high about this movie for two reasons. Firstly, I had seen the trailers and they were nothing short of amazing. Seriously, all you need to see is an old man with a foot long stick waving it around and creating a ginormous wall of fire to get me to want to see the movie. The other reason was because I had real…

Mid-life crisis' have never been so fun. I can't wait for mine, but instead of going to a ranch im going to Cancun and swim forever in the lake and maybe nobody will find me.
Three male friends, facing their 40th birthdays and experiencing midlife crises, decide they need time away from their "soft" city lives. They decide to vacation at a dude ranch, where they will be responsible for a…

Well it may be official, then again maybe it's bullshit, but according to Daniel Craig, there won't be any continuation on the Quantum storyline. Craig had this to say.
The next James Bond movie won't be a continuation of "Quantum of Solace" or so claimed two-time Bond depicter, Daniel Craig. Addressing the future of James Bond movie, Craig slammed down the speculation that "Bond 23" would be part of a trilogy. "No f--king way," he said to Collider at "Defiance" press day. "I'm done with tha…

I was a big fan of
Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. I thought he did a great job of embodying elements of all the Bonds that came before him.

When I heard that a Tintin movie was in the works, I was ecstatically happy. Tintin is a great comic book series full of action, adventure, great stories and great characters, and it seems like the books could be very easily translated into movies.
For those of you who don't know, the Belgian comic books feature Tintin, a young reporter who travels the world with his dog, Snowy. Along the way, he meets all sorts of crazy characters like Captain Haddock, Dr. Calculus, and Thompson and Tompson, a…

Bond Is Back On Blu-Ray High Def
The Film:
Expectations have always had the tendency to make or break your experience when watching a film. If a sequel doesn’t live up to its predecessor then it’s immediately shunned because audiences and critics alike…

According to variety Daniel Day-lewis will be part of Martin Scorsese's upcoming film "Silence". To me, it's already sounding good. Gangs of New York was underated I felt and "The Age of Innocence" wasn't bad either.
Scorsese seems to be be in flying form anyway. The Departed will be difficult to top, but lets see how this one goes.

Accents: that bane of actors throughout the world both in theatre and in film. They can sell or sink any performance. However, there is no accent more maligned, more butchered, more viciously fucked up on film than the Irish accent.

It's Hollywood tested!
As some point or…

Quantum of Solace the latest film of the already successful James Bond franchise is a non-stop action movie with really good adventure, suspense and mystery. It has really interesting twists. This new Bond movie is quite different from all the previous ones because in this one the 007 leaves all the glamour and his famous gadgets just to seek revenge. The film has various locations all around the world and it shows some beautiful landscapes. The cast is good, everyone with good performances. Dan…

While I do like where the Bond Franchise is heading with Daniel Craig, I kind of feel bad for Pierce Brosnan. Why? He had the James Bond character down to a science and he represented 007 for my generation at first. Yet he got stuck with possibly with the most ridiculous and absolutely most terrible plots in the MI6 universe. With the exception of GoldenEye (m…

This November, the world witnessed the United States elect its first black president: Barack Obama.

Evening All
I already make this post as a discussion but i wanted to make a blog of it as well.
So Bond is out in the UK and i seen it on opening night and wanted to come back and talk about it. Anyway the link below is Leon Blog about the Product Placement and Bond.
http://my.spill.com/profiles/blogs/947994:BlogPost:637236
Anyway i want to say it was a good blog but after seeing the film, the placement is not that bad to be honest. I think Casino Royale was worst in some respects. Like with…

IESB spoke with Daniel Craig who apparently was on Marvel's short list to play Thor.
Craig said no, he turned it down and laughed about it.
Craig said yes they [Marvel] did approach him but he turned it down. He added jokingly, it would have been too much of a power trip, both Bond and Thor, and running around with long hair and a hammer.
Anyone think Craig would have ma…
