1. Who are you?
My name is Ozma of Oz! I am a lover of weird movies, Jim Henson Muppets, Swedish Fish, cream soda and of course, comic books. When I am not drooling over Batman, Superman or the Martian Man Hunter, I'm attending college trying to get through and hopefully, waiting for the day I am able to move out of the house. My name comes from the young Princess Ruler of Oz named Ozma and yes, there is a princess of Oz. Read the books and you'll find out about her.
2. How did you fi…

‘They’re going to screw this up’. That is how I felt about western adaptations of anime. Heck, I still feel that way with movies like Dragonball Evolution enforcing that point. But then there are movies like Astro Boy which prove that studios can do something meaningful with a license without completely cow-towing to the fans or selling out to make a quick buck.
Astro Boy takes pla…

It's no secret that Warner Bros. and DC Comics have started, stalled, restarted, and once again stalled many of their film properties in the past, but it doesn't stop the speculation. One property that I always wanted to see brought to the big screen (and love to speculate about) is The Flash.

In case y…

DC vs. Marvel (First of 4): The Characters

It’s like Burger King vs McDonalds, like Cats vs. Dogs, like Kanye West vs. Award Shows. I’m typing about DC vs. Marvel. The two biggest comic book companies in the world have been in competition for as long as I can remember. The competit…

I have to admit that I’m late in following up on my Disney Company news, mostly because I follow the theme parks and films more so than the actual company. However, while stopping by the League Lounge on Spill, I noticed a flood of comments about Disney buying Marvel. I then made a detour to the Disney fan forum I’m a member of and found
the press release link about the acquisition. But in order…

I just done my first play through of batman arkham asylum (just around the 9 hour mark). What can I say this game just by videogame standards (disregarding the comic book stuff for now) is great its right up there with games such as metal gear solid and devil may cry as well as uncharted. As a comic book based videogame this to me is to video games what batman mask of the phantasm is to the animated world (yes it is that much fun to play and go through). I strongly recommend you got out and buy…

For the past two decades, Batman's media presence has been painted with a dark coat of seriousness. From Burton's Batman, to Bruce Timm's animated Batman, to Nolan's Dark Knight, every single interpretation since 1989 portrays him as the most serious DC superhero. It's almost as if the franchise is trying to makeup for Adam West's Batman. But now the time is right for a…

After reading this article I had to comment about it and why some of this excites me and some doesn't.
Josh Fine said
"We're really pushing to make this the greatest decade of Marvel Animation you've ever seen," which is kinda cool since I felt that out of all the things that Marvel Animation brought out,
"The Spectacular Spider-man"…
