There's a one inside of us.
Max (Max Records) imagines running away from his mom and sailing to a far-off land where large talking beasts -- Ira, Carol, Douglas, the Bull, Judith and Alexander -- crown him as their king, play rumpus, build forts and discover secret hideaways. Voices by Chris Coop… Continue

So some of us had the freaking terrible option of seeing the first Sex in The City movie, but now THE HORROR CONTINUES! That's right my fellow Spillios, The Sex and the City movie will be returning with a sequel. Now the characters will be reprising the roles with actors Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Catrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristen Davis and Chris Noth. Thankfully the movie wont be hitting theaters until May of 2010. From some set pictures that have been released during filming we see things such as… Continue
The conclusion of the first two films synching each other:
Harry fly off with the keys following behind him while he and Ron push Gilderoy Lockhart down the hole
Inspired by this website: http://www.weirdhat.com/swsimultaneously/ where this guy watched all six of the Star Wars films together and it inspired me to do the same with Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, AND Harry Potter. This happened about last year when I did the first four Harry Potter films. I didn't have the software what the Star Wars guy so I got two DVD players and watched two at the time which makes sense since two are Chris Columbus directed. And just like th… Continue

There are many different types of films, the good ones, the okay ones, the bad ones, and the great ones. It is very rare you see a movie that you consider flawless. It is even rarer you see a movie that you consider a masterpiece. "The Hurt Locker" is a rare type of film. "Th… Continue
The Education of Charlie Banks (2007) is a beautifully written, directed, and acted independent film about life, college, friendship, growing up, discovery, and the decisions we make. The cinematography and music make the movie flow wonderfully in this low key story. Read the rest of the review here and share your thoughts.Continue

Now the movie is perhaps the biggest release of the summer and they are right. The movie is full of action from the very first minute. It is like and adrenaline shot to the heart and it will keep you on the edge of your seat. The story is very interesting, It tells us the beginning of the friendship between J… Continue

So, I have been asking around...
As much as I am hoping for Star Trek XI to be good, I'm worried that despite its best efforts, it's going to get buried. I think it may have a good opening weekend, but here's what it has to compete with:
X-men Origins: Wolverine - May 1st
Star Trek - May 8th
Next Day Air - May 8th
Angels and Demons - May 15th

Ahh, Resident Evil. It feels like only yesterday since I last reviewed something of your ilk but, boy, how I get excited each time you show up. Now your latest and, more importantly, main stream game has come out, (for which I've been looking forward to for the past couple of years), and the day it came out, I was obligated---no compelled to rush out and buy it. After surviv… Continue
If you're among those that cling to the misguided idea that Street Fighter:The Legend of Chun Li was at the least a better movie than the '94 movie starring Jean Claude Van Damme...kill yourself. If you think this movie is a step in the right direction, then you would be doing humanity a favor.
It would be impossible to call yourself a fan of the franc… Continue
Okay we've heard plenty of crappy rumor after rumor regarding the sequel to The Dark Knight. However, this little gem blew my mind and I've decided to share it with all of you to see what you guys think. So apparently, even though Chris Nolan is now busy working on his science fiction flick, Inception, and the WB claims they will give him the space he needs to whip out another money maker; the studio has a backup director just in case...
