Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Over his objections, Nick is forced by his boss to… Continue
Guy Ritchie doing what he does best.
Thandie Newton and Gerard Butler co-star in director Guy Ritchie's crime thriller about crooks from London's underworld who set out to nab millions of dollars left for the taking when a Russian mobster's real estate scam falls apart. Tom Wilkinson plays a powerful crime boss, with Jeremy Piven and rapper Ludacris appearing as record producers who g… Continue

Law Abiding Citizen is to Action/Suspense movies what a decently good movie is to a genre filled with nothing but clones of the Bourne Trilogy. Oh, wait.
With that being said, one should be clear, much like others of its genre, there are some good things about this movie and there are some bad things. However, unlike most of its predecessors, Law Abiding Citizen manages to override the bad with the good, and what's more, there is a clear shift from good to cliche, which isn't really a bad thing… Continue

The Ugly Truth is a entertaining romantic comedy about Abby Richter, a romantically challenged morning show producer whose search for Mr. Perfect has left her hopelessly single. She's in for a rude awakening when her bosses team her with Mike Chadway, a hardcore TV personality who promises to spill the ugly truth on what makes men and women tick. Although I think the movie is a little predictable and with some corny moments, it is also very enjoyable and funny. The cast is formed by Gerard Butle… Continue

Gamer * out of **** Spill Rating: LOW RENTAL!
I play video games. I may not be a so called "gamer" but I always enjoy kicking up Gears of War for some chainsaw killing action. However, I feel insulted when Gamer depicts the gaming culture as perverted, fat slobs who are so lonely and depraved t… Continue

Most people enjoy video games. I know I do. Since I got my XBOX 360, I've been devoting a great deal of my time to HALO 3 on XBOX LIVE, time that I should be spending being more social. But in this dark and disturbing vision of the future, the world of online gaming pretty much destroys our moral judgement. I was going to play HALO 3 after I saw this movie and I don't think I want to play video games for a week.
This is Mark Neveldine & Brian Taylor's third film together, their first two be… Continue
What do you get when you mix The Running Man with Death Race and (dare I say it) The Lawnmower Man, and stir in a really good actor? A potentially kick back, leave-your-brain-at-home-and-go-enjoy-with-your-friends flick. If done properly, mind you... It's a very fine line between pure action fun and a load of crap. Lets hope this is the former. Continue

ThaShining is an avid film watcher. ThaShining likes films!
ThaShining is a man who loves a good story, great characters, and great dialogue.
I also like long walks on the beach, a good conversation, and a nice meal but that's a different subject all together.
So being a fan of Film (I love you so much FIlm!), I thought it would be nice to share a list of "non-blockbuster" titles that just might be winners this year!
The first film we have is

Everyone remembers Batman and Robin. And with good reason; it's a travesty. But while much of the worst content, Joel Schumacher has claimed, was introduced by Warne… Continue
I won’t start this review with any pretense that I’m familiar with Guy Ritchie, because I’m not. RockNRolla is the first film by him that I’ve seen. However, the British film scene tends to pump out some of the better, more enjoyable flicks (a la Christopher Nolan), which gives RockNRolla a running start from the play button.
To describe RockNRolla’s plot without spoiling anything is… Continue

After some failures in his career as a director, Guy Ritchie is back with a fast paced, frenetic movie. A film about a Russian mobster orchestrates a crooked land deal, millions of dollars are up for grabs, and all of London?s criminal underworld wants in on the action. Everyone from a dangerous crime lord to a sexy accountant, a corrupt politician and down-on-their-luck petty thieves conspire, collude and collide with one another in an effort to get rich quick. The story is interesting and the… Continue

This was a little bit better then the 1st TV movie, but it wasne't that great. Nothing new and exciting happened. Mr.Krabs doesn't reveal the Krabby Patty Formula and Spongebob and Sandy were pretending to be married in a play. The whole movie is ...
Horror spoofs, like this week’s Transylmania, come in all shapes and sizes. For instance, we have horror films that pay homage to other films, like Shaun of the Dead, but we also have satirical “sign of the times” flicks like An American Werewol...
