Whilst Tomas is battling the clock to put an episode done in one take within 10min, he also takes a look at movies where the main protagonists are running against the clock. Featuring Breakdown, Out Of Time and Die Hard With A Vengeance…tick, tick, tick, tick….

This summer movie season for me was a hit and miss for me. Though there were a few movies I did enjoy, this summer movie season was nothing short of mediocre. Transformers 2 was enjoyable, Star Trek was amazing, District 9 was orgasmic, and G.I. JOE, just flat-out blew a big fat one. Usually every summer there has been one movie that I cannot wait to come out. And sad to say, besides District 9 and Star Trek, nothing this summer really peaked my interest. With the 2009 summer movie season coming… Continue

The Sixth Sense Review
Rotten Tomatoes rating: 85%
My rating: Full Price!!
This is another M. Night Shyamalan film, and another film you have to be careful not to spoil, although the very action of reviewing this is fairly useless as you’ve either seen it or are about to come across it. For those who haven’t seen it, run out there and watch it before some dick spoils it for you.
So on to looking at this thing… Continue
Unbreakable Review

David Dunn (Bruce Willis) is a Philadelphia security guard who miraculously survives a massive train derailment. He wakes up in hospital unharmed and the only remaining survivor. Whilst still dealing with the shock, David is contacted by Elijah (Samuel L. Jackson), a comic book art dealer with the opposite physica… Continue

It's late at night, you're bored and you flip through the channels to see what's on. Then it happens...
Suddenly you stumble upon a movie that you can't turn away from. Maybe it's a musical montage, maybe it's the cinematography, an action scene or maybe it's an special effect you can't believe you saw. Either way you're watching it and although it looks low budget, cheap, or old, you're entranced by it. These, ladies and gentlemen are when you have fun watching a movie. We all have those films… Continue
Being a great rock musician sure can have its consequences. Such as, being murdered and thrown out of window while your girlfriend is being raped by a bunch of junkies. The ultimate anti-musician movie, I think i'll try becoming a baker.
The Crow stars Brandon Lee, in his final film, as Eric Draven, a rock musician who comes back from the dead to avenge his own murder, as well as that of his… Continue
The awesome poster for Evil Dead (DUH!)
Its a very rare occasion when I enjoy a horror movie so much. In fact, if someone asked me to make a top 10 (or even top 5!) list of horror films, i couldn't tell you. It's just not my genre. I watch my fair share of horror movies but i never really take this serious because I've only really watched the horror films of the last decade. But now… Continue

Greetings Spillios,
In my quest in preserving a well presented collection of film reviews, it soon can to my attention that WRAW Reviews have been struggling to keep afloat. With doing barely any other reviews for that site since my shift to Britfilms, I thought it would be best to present you guys with 2 classic reviews of mine as a treat that will lead up to 2 blog entries that I will be putting up soon, mainly including the review of the every popular STAR TREK film. So let's start ro… Continue

It was maybe a year or so ago when a kid wrote on one of message boards:
“I hate Superman”.
Huh? I mean…like, whaaat? I was speechless for a moment and kinda hurt. Y’know?
You don’t just HATE Superman. You might “not like him as much as Batman or Spawn”. You might not like that he’s too powerful. You might not like that he’s such a ‘boy scout’. You may not like that costume hasn’t changed or that he still wears his underwear on the outside…
But you just don’t HATE… Continue
How many graphic novels can you name that would count as literature? There's Watchmen, naturally. And Maus, you can't forget that one! Oh, and The Dark Knight Returns... and eh... Persepolis... that would count too... hmmm. The high art of graphic novels sort of stops a… Continue
'16 Blocks' Theatrical Trailer:
Now, right off the bat, when I heard tell of this film: I wasn't expecting much. When I saw the trailer, to the very moment I walked into the movie theatre, all I was expecting from this was some kind of generic action film. But, it turns out to be something a little more than what I expected. And I think that's the thing with these Bruce Willis(who plays Jack Mosley) movies, like: 'Die Hard' and 'The Sixth Sense', you go in expecting som… Continue

Now, before I start this list, I want to talk a bit about the upcoming 'Robocop' movie. Now, some of you may be wondering: "Why in the sweet Jesus is this guy talking about the new 'Robocop' movie?" And the reason is because that I completely loved the original film with Peter Weller as Alex Murphy/Robocop. And once I heard that they were remaking it, and they actually have a great director(Darren Aronofsky; 'The Wrestler', 'Requiem for a Dream', etc.) attached, that was a nice relief. Knowing t… Continue

Remember my disastrous star of a story I posted a while back? Hopefully not.
Anyways, I got a new story that I wanted to share. This is what I plan on using for the end, so I'll explain my idea.
A girl go's missing, and her blood is found all over...
