Chilling Sound of Doom New Moon Breaks Box Office Records; Straight Men Everywhere Lose Hope in Humanity

Okay, this franchise has gone too far. The Twilight Saga: New Moon opened yesterday to a first day total of... God damn it, I just can't say it. It's too painful. Fine- $72.7 million. No, that wasn't some sort of typo. $72.7 million. In one day. This ranks as the biggest opening day gross of all time. That's right, R. Pat absolutely crushed The Dark Knight's opening day gross of $67.2 million with his sparkling six-pack. I apologize for just giving you an… Continue

PREÐATOR Batman Versus The Terminator Teaser

For those who asked, this is why I haven't been all too active on the site. Sure, we have our ins-and-outs at many times as members, but for the most part with me, it's been creating this. Now bear with me as I shed light on this projects backstory, because if you're still one of those people who look at the Spill Crew as some form of celebritism, and not as human beings (or robots); then consider this blog a name dropping air-raid. It all started with this… Continue

Daniel Hubschman Trailer For 'Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths'

Warner Premiere has been churning out direct to DVD releases lately, expanding the universe quicker than the Flash can make it around the globe. The latest release appears to be a condensed version of the epic 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' arc and the trailer is somewhat less than I expected. Have a look for yourself:
Any thoughts?

Wayne Ok It has been long enough, THE NEXT JOKER IS......

I know many will say NO ONE CAN REPLACE HEATH LEDGER, He was the perfect Joker. Sure he played the role amazing BUT I think a lot of credit must be given to the writers for creating such an amazing part for Ledger to play and with that said The Joker is just as big to the world of Batman as Batman himself is t… Continue

Mr. IMDB ZOmBieLand

Wow I mean, just wow…. I went into this movie thinking, jeez another post-war, post-virus film. And might I say that it is a post-something, it was AWESOME! I have a deep hearted love of zombie film. I don’t know why but it is so addictive. Other people have cigarettes, alcohol, but with me I have simpler tics like zombies, food, and partying. That’s more what I like to call simple. The genre movie-holics know the good and bad of the genre movies. Now I don’t want to get to praising George Rom… Continue

Madness Mark Madness Mark’s Top 10 Movie Composers

There are a lot of elements that go into making a movie: writing, directing, cinematography, acting, costumes, special effects, locations, editing, etc. But what I feel is one of the most overlooked, and sometimes lacking, elements of a movie is the score. Sometimes the score is upstaged or even drowned out by popular songs inserted into the soundtrack. Take Watchman, for example, a film which had about forty minutes of composed music that never made it into the film, no doubt making room for ro… Continue

DC vs. Marvel (First of 4): The Characters

Serpent Overlord Xavier Serpent Review: Batman: Arkham Asylum

As you may all ready know, Batman is one of the, if not THE greatest superhero of all time. One of the biggest reasons that is because he is not super at all. He is a normal human being, a very strong fit human being but a human being none the less. As he's popularate has grown over the years, he has b… Continue

Karl My thoughts on Batman Arkham Asylum and what I want in a sequel!

I just done my first play through of batman arkham asylum (just around the 9 hour mark). What can I say this game just by videogame standards (disregarding the comic book stuff for now) is great its right up there with games such as metal gear solid and devil may cry as well as uncharted. As a comic book based videogame this to me is to video games what batman mask of the phantasm is to the animated world (yes it is that much fun to play and go through). I strongly recommend you got out and buy… Continue

Madness Mark Madness Mark's review of 'Batman, The Brave and The Bold Volume 1'

For the past two decades, Batman's media presence has been painted with a dark coat of seriousness. From Burton's Batman, to Bruce Timm's animated Batman, to Nolan's Dark Knight, every single interpretation since 1989 portrays him as the most serious DC superhero. It's almost as if the franchise is trying to makeup for Adam West's Batman. But now the time is right for a… Continue

Charlie Dirkx Batman: Arkham Asylum Review

Thank the lord for a good Batman game. Finally, my dreams have come true. This is, by far, the greatest comic book game ever made. Forget about Spider-Man 2. Sure, it was great, but this game is leaps and bounds ahead of anything before it. The creativity in this game is so amazing and... okay, onto the first paragraph with the good stuff. Batman: AA, is a beautiful, beautiful game. The textures are amazing, and no detail is spared in the amazing environments. What's amazing is that this game… Continue

C.H. Gorog Batman: Arkham Asylum review with CH Gorog...

I've been getting pretty damn sick of Batman. From the rabid fanboys slobbering over any information over the sequel to The Dark Knight to Batman's WTH departure from the comic world (for a while at least), I haven't exactly been deprived of seeing the caped crusader in my life. When I heard that a new video game would star the Dark Knight, I wasn't exactly thrilled since his… Continue

This review is brought to you by Mr.Cix Today we're reviewing: "Batman: Arkham Asylum" O_O Oh God this game has it all!! Sex, blow, million dollar hookers, and stolen children's candy. Ok.. After sensing something is fishy because he felt he "gave up almost without a fight", Batman decides to escort him as far i… Continue
