As the date rapidly approaches, more and more finds its way into my magical e-mail box. And some days, like today, I like to share that magical box with you. Won't you play with my magical box?
As an adult, animated man I would just like to point out how badly I would like to make sweet, sweet animated love to this woman. Look that the detail on those abs. THAT'S quality animation!…

AWN reports that Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas will executive produce Bob and Doug, an animated series based on their classic McKenzie Brother characters from SCTV and the movie Strange Brew. Now, if you've never seen their sketches or their movie, you are missing out on one of the funniest Canadian stereotype bits of all time.…
This project keeps looking better and better. Hopefully being a feature instead of a series of shorts will make it a bit more lasting in the memory than Gotham Knights (which we all liked, but none of us LOVED.) Here's hoping this is as good as NEW FRONTIER. Here's some arts for the arts lovers!…
I think God has listened to my prayers. At PAX 08', the guys over at Rooster Teeth revealed a rough draft of what a Red Vs Blue animated series would look like. Although this is only a test-run of the animation, the classic comedy is still there along with the characters we all know and love. Here's hoping it gets picked up. (Wink wink, HBO)

Although this would seem like the perfect place to go off on my usual rant about how Transformers and most cartoons from the 80’s were nothing more than glorified toy commercials, I will spare you. One, because I already exhausted it talking about G.I. Joe, but also because…well, damn, if any toy ever deserved to be turned… Continue

The introduction of Mr. Freeze into Batman: The Animated Series that gave the show a huge poppular staus after winning an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for an Animated Program for episode writer Paul Dini. This is the best Mr. Freeze story ever told. Now many consider this the best episode of the show. I consider it the second best behind "If Your So Smart, Why Aren't You Rich?" (which I'll post if I can find it). I'd like to present you all with "Heart of Ice".…

Call me an animation snob, if you will. With the exception of Spectacular Spider-man*, I have not been a fan of Marvel's animated cartoons since the 90's. Certaintly not their direct-to-DVDs: Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Ultimate Avengers. I thought Ulitmate Avengers 2 was...okay, but still paled in comparison to any of the Batman/ Superman/ Justice League cartoons.
So, I wouldn't come to you with this unless I was really excited. This Hulk vs. Wolverine direct-to-DVD movie… Continue
