When, oh when are people going to learn to stop taking trips with Liam Neeson? Trouble follows that guy around like a pack of wolves following wounded plane crash survivors in Alaska. In Jaume Collet-Serra's 'Non-Stop,' Neeson plays…

air jordans,jordans for cheap

After winning 1986-87 Slam Dunk competition at Seattle Coliseum, the Jordan logo changed to the familiar Jump man logo these days, however, if it came time and energy to speak about air Jordan III, Michael was ready to bolt. Reply to mid-air Jordan II, due in part towards the high market price, hadn't been stellar and designers Peter Moore and Rob Stressed had left Nike to get started on their unique company. They began to court Jordan, looking to develop the business enterprise around him…

Update: The shoes are once again a limited run, produced to be sold on eBay to help support Parkinson's research through the Michael J. Fox Foundation. They light up and are styled like the shoes in the film, but still no auto-lacing feature. Color the collective internet disappointed. Oh well, they still have 4 years to get it right...

how avatar: the last airbender almost killed me on the inside (caution: raw frustration and spoilers)

ok first off nobody should see this film without atleast a breif knowlege of the plot from the cartoon. if you don't atleast know a small amount of the cartoon you won't get the film the way m knight shamalan portrays it.

so other than that this film was painful.

i didnt want to go into this film feeling like it'd be another dragonball z evolution buuuuttttt i kinda saw it coming.

lets take a look at what made airbender: the last…

2009 Comedy Awards

So what I'm doing is pretty much Oscars for comedies. I have chosen 9 categories and watched the comedies of the past year and chosen nominees. You guys can vote on each category and I'll count up the votes and tell you who won

Best Original Screenplay

500 Days of Summer

The best romantic comedy I've seen in some time also has a dynamite screenplay with its nonlinear story line and dialogue that would make Tarantino proud. It also was the winner of…

Up in the Air: A real delight

Up in the Air follows the life of Ryan Bingham, a corporate hatchet who

loves his life on the road. His job consists in traveling all across the

country firing people and in the meantime meeting good looking and

collecting frequent flyer miles. Directed by Jason Reitman, he takes us

into a journey of a self examination of life, human relations and all of

its consequences. It is like a mix of road movie with comedy and drama

with a story that captivates, a plot… Continue

Salty The Beast: Up In The Air movie review

Up In The Air

Reviewed February 1st, 2010

“Up In The Air” is a fantastic new film by Jason Reitman. It includes some deep characters and an even deeper look at the modern day world. The hard-to-deal-with issues related to unemployment and the plummeted economy are showcased in a more humorous light. The character development of the movie is close-to-perfect and the entire film itself equals out to be an experience that is… Continue

My (Life In Chartreuse) Top 10 Films of 2009

As the year comes to a close, it’s time once again to look back on the year in film. There was a slew of great films to be seen, and ‘09 was a year dominated by sci-fi and animation. So without further ado, here are my favorite films from 2009.

10.) Avatar- Master director James Cameron's 3D sci-fi epic is engaging, gorgeous, and sets a new standard for visual effects and what can be done with animation. The Na’vi creatures… Continue

*Top 5 Best films of 2009* (well, in my opinion anyways...)

*I apologize for any grammer or spelling mistakes*

2009 was a great year for film. It was chalk full of excellent performances, clever and orginal stories, as well as the return AND success of stop motion animation. Most of all of the critically acclaimed and award fron-runner films have their high points and low points, which can make things difficult when deciding on which films were the best or which films should recieve awards. Speaking of awards, 2009 is one of those rare years… Continue

Christmas is coming..(And so is Avatar!)

If you’d ask me to describe the last few weeks in movies, my one word would probably be Frustranxious. Not the least due to the fact that this week James Cameron’s AVATAR was screened to the select few, including some of the press that I frequently read. It looks like the film is actually going to deliver, unlike recent films such as Wolverine Origins and Terminator Salvation. As you know, I really can’t wait to see Avatar, so the combination of… Continue

First week in England

It’s currently 3:35 pm here and around 9:35 am in America I arrived here Wednesday the major pain I had coming here was the 8 hour plane ride from Chicago at 8:30pm to Heathrow at 4:45 (10:45 after you set your clock 6 hours ahead.) My brother’s luggage being picked up by a older women luckily for him we got it back. Then the frightening 2 hour bus ride where I was worried that the bus would hit the other cars.

So far we bought a car get this if you don’t have insurance for your car… Continue
