First Trailer For 'Hitchcock'

I absolutely love movies about the art of making movies, and especially when it happens to be the story of the production of a classic film. Better still is when that classic film is Alfred Hitchcock's 'Psycho,' one of the best films from one of my all time favorite directors. Today, the first official trailer for …

Sploich Rambles On and On About Oscar Snobbery

What people seem to want out of the Oscars, or any big entertainment ceremony for that matter, is a tearing down of the celebrities. People for some reason want to watch these hard-working people who earn every dime they have to their name be torn to shreds for having earned that money. I've never understood this genuine hatred for Hollywood. I severely disagree with the outspoken portion of Hollywood's politics, but I've never been able to bring myself to hate them because you know what?…

50/50 Review

Trying to find humor in such a horrifying situation as having cancer or having someone that you love suffer with cancer is an incredibly tough thing to do but credit must be given to Seth Rogen, Jonathan Levine, Will Reiser and everyone else involved in the making of this film for pulling it off tremendously. This is a concept that could've gone horribly wrong if it was made in the wrong hands but the movie and the filmmakers know what they're attempting to do and therefore the story manages…

Lets talk about the X-men

Hey can we talk, about something that we just can't put to rest, the X-men series. I'm sure this is something that has already been talked about to death, next to the Star wars movies. But this is something that I grew up with, so it left a greater impression on me, as I'm sure it did others.

I remember when I was in the forth grade, hearing from a friend about an X-men movie being done, and I was so excited about it. And looking back, thank god they never went through with then.…

Multitude of Movie Posters

We've got the latest batch of new posters, so enjoy! Bad babysitters, lothario kitty cats, creepy kids, worried mothers and laughable politicians are the focus of these upcoming films:

Jonah Hill stars as the most irresponsible babysitter in the world who takes three children on a crazy adventure through the streets of New York while trying to get to the drunken woman he loves in time to get some action.…

Why the world needs "Jersey Shore"

December 2009, a much simpler time. Exictment was building for future films such as "Avatar", "Sherlock Holmes" and of course "Alvin and The Chimpmunks, the squeakeul". Little did the world know that they were about to be introduced to the most rambuctious family to ever hit television since the Cosbys. Season one of the shore introduced us to a great cast of characters. Body freak the situation, spikey haired Pauly, Tig Bitties Jwoww, Sammi Sweatheart, family man Vinny Big Ron and lil Snookie.… Continue

(Rebecca Black Friday Review) Mediocrity is Fun: or Which Seat Will You Take?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NLjz-ZJmEc

This is my review of Rebecca Black's Friday. I am new to this sort of thing, so if anyone who is good at this has any advice, I would love that. I desperately want to get better. I would like to point out that I do not like the song specifically. I like it in the same way that some people like Troll2. There seems to be a lost in translation type thing with this video.…

What I Watch on A Rainy Day- Pt. 1

I saw the beginning of this film before I fell asleep at 3:30 am one Thursaday morning. For the next couple of days i couldn't stop thinking of this film (I passed out when Brandon discovered Emily's body at the tunnel...........oh SPOILER!). I couldn't stop thinking about her death and the mystery surrounding it. But my only problem then was I never caught the title of the film!

Top Ten Best Comic Villains that you may not know about (DC Edition)

Top Ten Comic Villains that you may not know about (DC Edition)

I grew up reading comics and I liked the villains the most. Yes, the superheroes are important but the villains are just more interesting and cool. I was always amazed that some of these villains didn't get the recognition that they deserved. They had interesting story lines and powers. Here they are:

10. Professor Hugo Strange

Powers: No “Super Powers”:… Continue

Opinions about things that are Better Than Sex

While viewing some topics I see alot of arguments about what is better than sex!

Some things like:

One poster believes that to him BORAT is a better than sex movie. Then I see about 5 replies arguing with that person about how it isn't better than sex and he is wrong.

some thing as someone who things Transformers is a better than sex movie.

I'm tired of seeing other people being PUSHED down by other people about their… Continue

The Happening DVD review! (if you don't check out this post you will die in seven days!)

How many ways can I say brilliant? M. Knight does it again! After his smash hit with lady in the water I didn't think he could pull off another PERFECT film such as this one! This movie is about some sort of occurrence in which people stop dead in their tracks and start spouting beautifully artistic soliloquies before taking their own life, all against their own will. The film begins with one of these elegantly crafted sequences followed by a short educational scene, and then descends into… Continue

What's so great about "Blade Runner"?

Blade Runner

Before I saw the cult classic "Blade Runner", my friends told me about it nonstop. They kept telling me "dude, you've got to see that movie, it the greatest sci-fi movie of all time!" Since it quickly became apparent to me that I was the only science fiction lover on the planet that hadn't seen it, I picked it up. And I had high… Continue
