Pokemon X & Y - Cover Art and New Gameplay Trailer
Are you people ready for this? Because I don't think you are. For the first time in a handheld Pokemon game players will be allowed... to move in more directions than up/down/left/right. Groundbreaking. It is kind of silly to look at the changes being made for Pokemon X & Y as anything new because most handheld games have been doing these things since the DS. But if you look at the Pokemon series as a whole you start to get a grasp on how different Pokemon X & Y is going to…

Mewtwo-esque Pokemon Origins Revealed
In a short clip shown on Nintendo Direct we finally get to see where that Mewtwo looking Pokemon came from. The results are... huh. I'm really not to sure how I feel about this. My initial reaction is one of confusion and a tiny bit of anger. They couldn't have just left the legendaries alone could they? I will wait to see how this as of now unnamed Pokemon performs in Pokemon X/Y before making any final statements on the matter.
Pokemon X/Y will both be released in October for the…

New Mewtwo-esque Pokemon Revealed for X/Y
Over the weekend on the popular Japanese TV show, "Pokemon Smash" a new Pokemon for the upcoming 3DS title Pokemon X and Pokemon Y was shown. Fans who have been around since generation 1 were quick to spot the obvious resemblance to the Pokemon known as Mewtwo. This caused some understandable murmur due to the fact that up to this point no known legendary Pokemon had any stages of evolution. Spokespersons from the people behind the Pokemon games are keeping their mouths shut regarding the…

X-Men Days of Future Past is probably one of the best and most influential time travel stories ever created. So much so that it has been revisited, tribute and ripped off too many times to count. It’s probably the second most famous X-Men story ever written, (right after the Dark Phoenix…

Street Fighter X Tekken Mini Review
Street Fighter X Tekken is a game I honestly never thought would come. This game seems like it was made for the fans of both Street Fighter and Tekken but it plays more to the Street Fighter, which as a product of Capcom it should play as such. Now I am a fan of Street Fighter not a huge fan but I enjoy the games to my surprise those of you who enjoy fast pace fighting games will love this game. It has a tag team element like Marvel vs. Capcom but unlike that game if one of…

Dusk Maiden of Amnesia ~ Anime Review
One day, some stooge gets lost in the shitty architecture of his school. This school has been built and rebuilt several times, and for some god damn reason, they didn't just tear down the old parts of the school, instead they've built new floors and buildings around it. But that's…

Marvel Season one
So I've finally gotten around to reading some of Marvel Season one and I got to say, it's an interesting update of the origins. I was privileged enough to read both of the Team books: FF and X-men. I'm also now reading the first of the second wave Ant-man. The art in both the team books is very well done for a graphic novel, nothing mind blowing alex ross level but nothing horrid Rob Liefeld level(though from the first few pages of Ant-man, I'm cautious as it appears to look very cartoon…

Mysterious Girlfriend X - Anime Review

Well I remember either on my podcast or on a blog I’ve said I have seen countless numbers of anime school rom-coms and really most of them don’t do anything particularly different……so to that end let me review this new 2012 anime rom-com that has a different / interesting? concept.
Synopsis
The series follows two central characters Akira Tsubaki and Mikoto Urabe. Urabe is a transfer student who…

Project X Review
An incredibly ambitious party movie that attempts to lay all other party movies to rest with the aid of weed, acid, ecstasy, alcohol, topless girls, adrenaline and high octane fuel that does anything but burn out? Yes, it's true. This is the movie to end all party movies and all parties period! It doesn't slow down, it doesn't let you up, and it's the culmination of the teenage life of all the kids who are now growing up with Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Fight Club, Jersey…

Yes, the movie every young and aspiring (sort of) teenager has been dreaming of, has finally made it to the big screen. It promised the biggest party ever seen, with all the bells and shot glasses included, and did it deliver? Well, maybe.... you see, despite the fact that it is indeed one kick-ass party, there are some very important things to mention, some of…

With each new generation, each new set of movies...
A couple of days ago, I showed Cannibal Holocaust to a bunch of friends who are into Horror movies(Like Saw, Hostel) and thought they would like it. Surprisingly, they were just bored with it. Like as if they had seen this all before. Now I understand the state of how movies from "back then" can't have the same…
