My Dream Team: One Fan's Idea for the Cast of a Justice League Movie

Joe Manganiello as Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman. Okay, take away the beard and then you have an excellent person for Superman in a Justice League movie. Not only has he stated that he wanted to play Superman really badly in the upcoming Man of…

Safe House Review

First Poster For 'Safe House'

Copping and repackaging an old maxim, you should never judge a movie by its poster. That advice only seems more appropriate when the poster is for a movie starring two people you like, and looks like it was whipped together in Photoshop five minutes before it was due to premiere. Such is the case with the recently-revealed poster for Daniel Espinoza's…

Anyway…

Washington, D.C. No, we are not Austin or London or Amsterdam. Doesn’t make what amounted to a great get-together any less memorable than other Spill get-togethers. But I digress. Courtesy of our very own Ewok Princess, on the weekend… Continue

Reviews by Niall :Book Of Eli edition

Going into this movie i wasnt sure exavtly what to expect would it be a big pop corn movie blockbuster? or a more serious film about the nature of humanity in extreme situations? Well it was both a near perfect blendof the two with great fight scenes and superb action set peices. and great acting from all concerned Of course Denzel Washington is excellent as always and Gary Oldman on top form like he always is. truth be told some viewers may be put off by some of the themes and seemingly… Continue

Book Of Eli Review

From the Hughes brothers, who are best known for producing, directing, and writing Menace II Society and Dead Presidents, we have The Book of Eli, starring Denzel Washington as a man on a mission in a post-apocalyptic world.

I went into this film with very little knowledge of the storyline, and I will say I was caught off guard once it got into the meat of the plot. I will admit I did go into this movie with a…
