If it's crap ... We'll tell you
'Skyfall' was a landmark entry in the James Bond franchise for a number of reasons. First, it was released in 2013, which marked the fiftieth anniversary of the series. 'Skyfall' also had the…Continue
It feels so odd that despite me seeing many films last year, that there's still a huge batch of great titles from 2012 I have yet to check out. Some consisting of movies I missed out on seeing, others that just never got screened…Continue

The James Bond franchise has featured a rather eclectic assortment of directors. Of course, with a franchise that boasts twenty-three films over fifty years, there is ample opportunity for employing a great many different directors. Some of these directors have helmed multiple…Continue

This year has been a pretty big year in movies: Twilight ended (thank god), Hunger Games started, Bond turned 50, Batman ended (at least on chris nolan terms), and Disney churned out two bombs (John Carter and Frankenweenie). now keep in mind that I didn't see EVERY movie this year: but, I have seen enough to conduct two top ten lists. so without further ado, we have the top 10 BEST movies of 2012.

In this shaken not stirred instalment of the wildly popular and father to many Braingasm Reviews series Ben, Jordan (@jowoco), and Zack (@Z_h_) reviewed the beloved latest entry in the James Bond film series, Skyfall.
In keeping with tradition they broke the discussion down to a spoiler free first segment and a spoiler ridden second segment. If you haven't seen the movie I would highly recommend that you not spy on the second…Continue

After half a century of being one of the most indelible characters in pop culture across the globe, it's only appropriate to ask whether or not James Bond is relevant even to the world of cyber-terrorism. Bond has gone through quite a lot over the years and he's the only iconic character that has consistently lasted…Continue

It’s that Halloween-ey time of year and we will certainly give a nod to the holiday this week on The Plot Hole as we pick some scary movies for people who, well, don’t like scary movies. That’s far from it this week however, as I also brings us an early review of 007’s latest outing, Skyfall.
We’ll start things off with a discussion on some of the latest movie news including the trailer for Iron…Continue

The latest installment of the James Bond franchise, 'Skyfall,' hasn't even landed in theaters yet, and already plans are being solidified for the next two films in the series. This shouldn't be an enormous…Continue
The James Bond franchise has existed for half a century with six actors having played the iconic spy up to now. Outside of Australian vs. Welsh, or Irish vs. Scottish, there hasn't been a great deal of diversity within this group of actors. If rumors are to believed, there may be a major change on…Continue
As pumped as I am for Sam Mendes' 'Skyfall,' I feel like the marketing has officially reached critical mass. The trailers and clips are so prevalent and, in some cases, lengthy that I'm starting to feel like I've seen everything the movie has to offer. It is for this reason that I have abstained from watching this latest…Continue
The only thing that has me more excited than seeing Sam Mendes' 'Skyfall' is seeing Sam Mendes' 'Skyfall' in IMAX. The glorious return of James Bond in such a larger-than-life format? Yes please. This poster for the IMAX release just hit the web. I love the classic black-and-white style; looks…Continue
One of the best parts of any new James Bond film is hearing the theme song. This franchise has a legacy of incredible music, and now the opening song from 'Skyfall'has been revealed in full. I have to say, I think Adele knocks it out of the goddamn park. The song is smoky, cool, and features beautiful hints of the James Bond theme itself. I could listen to this all day. Take a listen for…Continue
It's now October, which means we are but a mere month away from the release of Sam Mendes' 'Skyfall,' the twenty-third movie in the James Bond franchise. If you've been following this site at all over the last year, you'll know how insanely excited we are for the film. The official website for…Continue
For James Bond fans, one of the best parts of the release of a new film is hearing the new theme song. The introductory tune always sets the stage for the film to follow and has been a staple of the franchise since nearly the very beginning. About a year ago, UK pop singer …Continue
