Zero Dark Thirty Review
It took ten years and two wars to find the most wanted man in contemporary American history: Osama bin Laden, the fanatical man who was responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians around the world. Whether the events in this film portray the facts or are merely a variation of what really…

Gangster Squad Review
When someone says that there is a new crime film set in the '40s and '50s and it has people like Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Nick Nolte and plenty of other fantastic actors and actresses, you would expect it to either be Oscar caliber material or at the very least a very excellent crime drama…

Remote Viewing: Episode 42
This week, it's Halloween in January (since Cyrus missed the chance to celebrate it in October) and the Remote Viewing crew takes a break from the usual new releases and takes a look back at some of our favorite, and slightly more obscure than the usual picks, horror dvd and blu-rays. Much hyperbolic praise is given to many seemingly minor titles and you would all do well to obey the RV bidding and pick these up to see for yourself how insane or not we really…

Remote Viewing: Episode 41
This week's episode is slightly extended due to some preliminary discussion about Xmas presents, some excellent email questions, and the presence of our buddy, and Godzilla comic artist, Matt Frank, who is decidedly NOT here to talk about My Little Pony. So suck it up. Regardless of the complete absence of brony talk, this is one solid ep of Remote Viewing so you should probably go ahead and click the button.…

Remote Viewing Episode 40
'Twas the night before ChriFSMas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, except Brian, Cyrus and special guest J.C. De Leon, because dammit, Holiday or no, we've got some Blu-Ray and TV titles to tell you about! Plus, we're all so damn slap-happy from getting no rest of any kind after all the parties this week, we manage to, despite our selves, get darn goofy and fun. Check…

Braingasm Podcast Episode 85: Bagging on Baggins
In this our 85th episode of the show we are having a fireside chat with Melissa (@melissacocetta).
We began as we do every week by spoiling our thoughts about the movie that they are about to spend the next hour and a half discussing.
As you may have guessed this entire episode is devoted to a discussion of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. It was going to be a Braingasm Reviews but the discussion went into too many different…

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Review
Many people feared that this movie would be the equivalent of The Phantom Menace but for the younger generation of fans who grew up with The Lord of the Rings as their epic saga of nostalgia. While this film doesn't descend into such excruciatingly painful territory, the attempts at entertaining the children…

Crysis 2 Mini Review
Crysis 2 is a pretty damn fun FPS. I am a guy who has never touched or even seen gameplay of the original Crysis. Some of the big fans of that game dislike this one because it is more linear and most of all the graphics have been dumbed down for the console. I can see their grips but in no means is this a bad game. The game starts with you playing as Alcatraz a marine that is almost killed. The hero from the last game named Prophet saves you and puts the Nano suit on you so…
