Wreck it Ralph movie review - nkWhiteStar
The first theatrical review of 2013, and it is a movie that released last year in the U.S.? Yep, lame Disney distribution means I went to check this out in the cinema tonight for what is, the film we all expected Pixar to make rather than "Brave". It's been a long wait and I wasn't fully able to side-step all the spoilers and hype for…

New 'Wreck-It Ralph' Clip
We are so close to the release of Disney's 'Wreck-It Ralph,' and I couldn't be more excited. This loving tribute to gaming, both contemporary and classic, is shaping up to be a major win. This new clip has just surfaced highlighting the reluctant partnership between Ralph (John C. Reilly) and…

Shaping More Than A Movie: Ralph McQuarrie (1929-2012)
Another person whom the public probably knows nothing about, but is familiar with his work the world over, has passed.
Ralph McQuarrie was originally a painter for Boeing aircrafts before he was recruited to do conceptual paintings for STAR WARS after George Lucas had seen some pictures of his work. He commissioned Ralph to do paintings to help visualize his ideas to help sell his…

2012 is almost among us, and it’s about time to be thinking about what’s about to come next year. For me one of these things just happens to be the movies of 2012. Sure, 2011 was a great year for movies, but next year has a ton of great films to look forward to. There so much to look forward to, chances are you’re probably not going to agree with everything on this list, but you know what, that’s why it’s a good list. Hopefully these films will be worth the wait for me and everyone else who…

Finis.
Yesterday was my birthday, and I decided to spend a lot of it resting so I could go to a midnight screening of the last film in the most successful movie franchise of all time. Today's movie is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The Warner Bros. production - rated PG-13 - stars an ensemble cast headlined by Daniel Radcliffe,…

The English Patient: Solid and Well-Done

Continuing on my quest for Best Picture winners, I’ve decided to cap off the halfway point of my journey with the 1996 winner The English Patient, which proves that Ralph Fiennes does his best work when he plays an Eastern European during World War II. Jokes aside however, I had heard
a number of good things about this film outside of its accolades, and
even though a romance central story isn’t really my favorite genre…
