Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace Review

Rating-F**K YOU!!!

Star Wars Episode 1:The Phantom Menace is the biggest clusterfuck of a movie I have ever seen. First, before I tear this shitty movie to shreads, lets talk about the positives... it was 2 hours long, and not 3. Yep, thats about it. The effects aren't that impressive, and to be…

This Just In..."Source Code" and "Jackboots on Whitehall"

SOURCE CODE (Blu-Ray and DVD)

Unlike actual source code, this twisty 2011 sci-fi thriller isn't even vaguely soul crushing and dull. Quite the opposite. Duncan Jones (he of "Moon" and earlier, David…

Crack the Source

I had the (increasingly) rare free moment today, and I was able to spend it by doing what I do best, and that’s go to the movies. Today’s movie selection is the action thriller Source Code. The Summit Entertainment production stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga, and Jeffrey Wright. I had seen commercials and trailers for this movie for a while, and I was intrigued to… Continue

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Review

May 28, 2010, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has been released. The spectacular picture for the ordinary viewers, a ground for criticizing for the game fans and cinema admirers. The beautiful movie saturated with the Eastern spirit.

First of all, the key character: Jake Gyllenhaal has incarnated the image of Prince. The funniest critique… Continue

Prince of Persia: The Fun Stupidity (Minor Spoilers)

As a kid who grew up with various video game consoles to occupy my time and escape from actually having to go outside and physically exert myself, I am quite familiar with the Prince of Persia hfranchise.

It had a cool character, wicked acrobatics, and creative gameplay that

made you love to abuse its time changing powers. Naturally, it was only

a mater of time before an adaptation was made for it, which resulted…

A "REAL" Review of the Prince of Persia the Sands of Time...

Now I actually attended the Hollywood premiere and saw the movie, and let me say that I will be breaking this movie down as two things: a film as a whole and a video-game film.
I wrote a blog some time ago, referring to this movie being "the first of many great video-game movies to come", and I completely stand by that. Here is a link.…

Reviews by Niall:Brothers Edition

Before seeing this film i didnt know whether or not to see this or up in the air and i am glad i picked this one.

Fantastic acting from all concerned here the three central performances of course are the best. Natalie Portman brilliantly plays the lonely loyal mother at home her characters pain flows from the screen and is very palpable and should at least garner a nomination when they are announced. Jake Gyellenhaal also is on great form as the recently released somewhat alcholic brother… Continue

Hotel for Dogs: A nice family movie

Hotel for Dogs is a movie that tells the story of a two orphan brother and sister with a dog. One day they found a abandoned hotel and decide to transformed it on a shelter for dogs. The movie is good, it has some funny moments and also some dramatic ones. The plot is good yet predictable and with some flaws. The cast is decent Emma Roberts and Jake T. Austin aren't bad but I think they were a little weak, Lisa Kudrow and Kevin Dillon were very good as a couple, both were very funny and Don… Continue

Prince of Persia... Please?

If you own a epic gaming console such as the Ps3 is nowadays, you've heard of Prince of Persia. But I remember this saga from yeeeeeears back. Shit is as old as I am! Was a load of unwashed cock and balls until Sands of Time came out on the PC, PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and Xbox.

Me being an true gamer, with the metal to burn shit alive, owned and still do the GameCube and PC versions. Back when I owned a PC... But the motherfucker is used as a doorstop now. Long live… Continue

To Sleep, Perchance to Dream Your Life Away

Dreams are like movies in that they are a way for us to escape from the reality of the drudgery that daily life sometimes can be. Lucid dreamaing takes it one step further; it allows for us to be aware that we are dreaming, and control and manipulation of the dreamscape becomes possible to an extent. Firs time feature director Jake Paltrow explores the what if? of dreaming and possibility that it overtakes your disappointingly mundane and depressing existence.

Mary Jane Apologizes to Spider-man

Supposedly Kirsten Dunst didn't go into rehab for alcohol abuse and she's NOT in a 12 step program...BUT she has been calling people to make amends, which happens to be step nine.

One of the first people she reached out to was SpiderMan co-star and ex-boyfriend Tobey Maguire.

"Kirsten apologized for things she did to him when they worked together and dated in 2001," says the source.
