If it's crap ... We'll tell you
Contrary to the trailer that was released on Monday this one actually has gameplay in it. Good show Ubisoft. Now we get a basic idea of who Edward Kenway was before he became a pirate and some knowledge of who he will be hunting as…Continue

A new trailer for the next numbered iteration in the Assassin's Creed franchise just hit today. This one actually shows off gamepl... oh wait. No it doesn't. Just images on a screen with an unfitting voice over behind it. The only new piece of information to get out of this trailer is the names of some of the other pirate captains you will be encountering throughout the game. No word yet on whether or not these characters will end up being enemies or not. Being that they are all pirates it…Continue
Two days ago we were treated to a new trailer that briefly highlighted the new elements being added into Saints Row IV including aliens and superpowers. Today we are getting to see what was shown to press at PAX East, which is essentially an extended look at how you these additions will look and play in the world. OK most people are probably tired by now of me complaining about my…Continue
I may not be the right person these games are marketing to. The level of insanity and silliness that Saints Row the Third amped the series up to was fun for a while, but lost its' charm around half way through. Saints Row IV looks to be almost the exact same level of silliness and insanity, and maybe that's why I'm not that interested. This new trailer shows off the different sorts of superpowers you…Continue
Unless you're actually interested in the app they are showing off here then I would suggest turning this video off after 25 seconds. However in that 25 seconds we get to see some tiny snippets of new gameplay. The new ways to kill people in combat look pretty fun to pull off and reflect the pirate nature of the game's setting. You can also see a shot of Edward Kenway jumping from his ship to one he has boarded and an assassination you can preform while doing so. Other than that it's all just…Continue

It's been a while since I've enjoyed a good JRPG. Honestly I had never even heard of this series up until a few weeks ago. However if this is the team behind the Persona series which I've heard almost nothing but positive things about then I'm willing to give this a chance. Also the way I'm seeing fans react to this trailer does perk my interest. The graphics look pretty good for a 3DS game, and if this game proves to be a long and immersive experience then I can see no reason as to why I…Continue

As the months go by we draw closer and closer to the release of GTA V. Everything we have seen in the trailers looks astounding. Rockstar always tries to outdo themselves when releasing a new game, but GTA V seems to be blowing everything else out of the water. With a map that boasts to be larger than GTA: San Andreas, GTA 4, and Red Dead: Redemption COMBINED. Now we finally get a look at the cover of the game. Sticking with the iconic style is never the wrong choice to make. They even kept…Continue

Today we get our first non pre-rendered cutscene look at Assassin's Creed IV. More and more I am finding myself thinking I made the right choice to skip the past two Assassin's Creed games. Now that I've had time away from the franchise I can dive full bore into this new one. All of the gameplay shown here is fantastic. The cities look gorgeous and seem to have a unique style unlike any we have seen in any past AC games. Diving from an eagle's parch into water instead of hay or leaves makes…Continue

Best news of the week? Best news of the week. Yesterday the studio behind the cult favorite "Saints Row" franchise teased yesterday on facebook that the next iteration in the popular franchise was coming, and sooner than we expected. Before long they revealed that Saints Row IV would be launching on August…Continue
Saw 7 is to Saw what Jason X is to Friday the 13th. 7 years 7 movies ranging from ground breaking to pure shit, this ain't ground breaking. Saw 7 is a cheaply made badly written film with forgetable characters a few sub plots that end in a crappy place and a final absolute resolution to the Saw Franchise. This is a good thing that they're ending it but a bad thing they're ending it on such a bad note.
The Leads are, Jill Tuck(Jigsaw's ex wife), Hoffman(Jigsaw's #1 who's taken…Continue
Hello all, I don't know if anyone will be seeing this in time, but I will be getting the 3DS tonight at midnight and if anyone has any questions or concerns they'd like me to confirm or debunk I'd be happy to do so. So ask away and I'll do my best to answer whatever to the best of my ability.
Either way, I'll be posting many pictures of the new device and impressions of whatever game I may get!
I've been a huge video game fan for my whole life, so I'm no casual…Continue

You may not care about the Grammys. You may not care about video games. Hell, you may not even care about the music industry in general! But one thing is certain, something historic just happened.
A video game won a Grammy in the obscure category of "Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s)".
The video game is Civilization…
