Remember Me - Six New Screenshots
I have such a rocky relationship with Remember Me, and the game hasn't even come out yet! It seems like every new piece of information that comes out about it whether it be screenshots, trailers. or just a synopsis, they always end up either gaining my support or losing it. These new screenshots did the former. Particularly the one where it shows the protagonist scaling the side of a building. I was unaware the game was going to have an Assassin's Creed aspect to it. Shit,…

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Story Trailer
Contrary to the trailer that was released on Monday this one actually has gameplay in it. Good show Ubisoft. Now we get a basic idea of who Edward Kenway was before he became a pirate and some knowledge of who he will be hunting as…

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - "True Golden Age of Pirates" Trailer
A new trailer for the next numbered iteration in the Assassin's Creed franchise just hit today. This one actually shows off gamepl... oh wait. No it doesn't. Just images on a screen with an unfitting voice over behind it. The only new piece of information to get out of this trailer is the names of some of the other pirate captains you will be encountering throughout the game. No word yet on whether or not these characters will end up being enemies or not. Being that they are all pirates it…

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Companion App Trailer Shows New Gameplay
Unless you're actually interested in the app they are showing off here then I would suggest turning this video off after 25 seconds. However in that 25 seconds we get to see some tiny snippets of new gameplay. The new ways to kill people in combat look pretty fun to pull off and reflect the pirate nature of the game's setting. You can also see a shot of Edward Kenway jumping from his ship to one he has boarded and an assassination you can preform while doing so. Other than that it's all just…

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Gameplay Trailer
Today we get our first non pre-rendered cutscene look at Assassin's Creed IV. More and more I am finding myself thinking I made the right choice to skip the past two Assassin's Creed games. Now that I've had time away from the franchise I can dive full bore into this new one. All of the gameplay shown here is fantastic. The cities look gorgeous and seem to have a unique style unlike any we have seen in any past AC games. Diving from an eagle's parch into water instead of hay or leaves makes…

The Review of Assassin's Creed 3 Gameplay by D. Frushay
Let me just say right off the bat I'm a giant fan of the Assassin series, ever since the first game I really loved the whole idea of going back in history and playing through it, but Assassin's Creed takes you from that and puts you in a different idea than what use to be the norm of having to play some first person shooter set back in WW2 or some RTS going through Roman times.
I know the first game you either liked it or hated it, I never met someone who was on the fences about it,…
The Plot Hole Podcast - Episode 73
It’s that Halloween-ey time of year and we will certainly give a nod to the holiday this week on The Plot Hole as we pick some scary movies for people who, well, don’t like scary movies. That’s far from it this week however, as I also brings us an early review of 007’s latest outing, Skyfall.
We’ll start things off with a discussion on some of the latest movie news including the trailer for Iron…

Assassin's Creed 3 Trailer
Assassin's Creed III, or as I like to call it, Assassin's Creed: Patriotic Edition.
First of all, I'm excited for the next Assassin's Creed. Doing Parkour moves and then killing people? Always a lovely game mechanic. But I'll admit, the main story (the Desmond story) can grate on my nerves, but in my opinion, that's never been the focus of the series.
However, I'm somewhat worried about one thing in the trailer- doing parkour moves on trees. Are we…
