If it's crap ... We'll tell you
Just in case you thought there was anything that could not be adapted for film, developments have come about on the Angry Birds movie. That's right, the cinematic version of that game you play on your iPad with the slingshot, the pigs, and the surly feathered protagonists. The project has been simmering for a while,…Continue
As promised us, here is the latest trailer for Ruben Fleischer's 'Gangster Squad,' the first since its recent reshoots. What I really like about this new trailer is how it emphasizes the viciousness of Mickey Cohen (…Continue
One of the best things about Quentin Tarantino's films has always been his casts. He is routinely able to assemble a truckload of phenomenal talent and pull fantastic performances out of even the most unlikely of actors. It was…Continue
For those who doubt that Sasha Baron Cohen is actually a fuckin' genius!…Continue
I'll be honest, initially I was intrigued by Sacha Baron Cohen's new comedy 'The Dictator' as it looked like he was somewhat diverging from his uncomfortable, putting average people on the spot comedy and doing something more scripted. Yet newer trailers reveal that we will see him up to his old tricks for at least a portion of the film,…Continue
If you were ever a boy scout, you might remember that the certification process for eagle scout was incredibly grueling. You had to learn all those knots, go to the Scoutmaster Conference, and strike down the walking dead with a well aimed blow to the head. Wait a minute... one of those things seems out of place. Luckily, smiting a flesh-eater won't seem so foreign to the scout curriculum when Paramount releases its upcoming horror-comedy 'Boy Scouts vs. Zombies.' The…Continue

Get ready to start singing “We Are the Champions.” Sacha Baron Cohen has signed on to play Freddie Mercury in a biopic about the flamboyant and dynamic lead singer of Queen, Graham King’s GK Films announced via press release. (Deadline first reported the news.) I have no idea whether Baron Cohen can actually pull off the singing: He acquitted himself well enough in 2007′s Sweeney Todd, but Mercury had some of the most powerful vocal…Continue
The Cohen brothers time and time again have managed to both make high caliber films as the classic Fargo (1996), The Big Lebowski (1999), and my personal Favorite: No Country For Old Men (2007). They have also managed to make films that are less than impressive with films like The Ladykillers (2004) and the "intolerable" Intolerable Cruelty (2003). But with this film, by the finale of the picture; I didn't know how to feel about it. I knew that I liked… Continue

To call this film Offensive would be an understatement. The best way I can possibly describe this movie is...well for lack of better word: GAY! Like I'm talking really GAY! But that is not to say that this is a bad movie at all.
