Time flows by very fast. We are at December of 2009 and we are nearly at the end of the decade. What a decade has it been. We started off worrying about the end of civilization with the Millennium prophecy only to end up worrying about the 2012 prophecy. In turn we have movies that were more of sequels,…

Source "EMPIRE" (This is just a copy and paste of their article, this is not my writing)
Superbad aside, Jonah Hill’s movie career to date has been built on a series of charismatic and memorable cameos and supporting turns in the likes of Funny People, Accepted and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
But the long-term plan is clearly ‘Jonah Hill: Movie Star’. To that end, he’s already committed to writing and starring, alongside Jason Segel and Jason Schwartzman, in The…

Kristen Stewart has won Best Female Performance at the MTV Movie Awards. Her fans will be delighted to see her again in the upcoming
New Moon: the Twilight Saga Continues.
I have every bit of confidence that New Moon will be a much better movie than Twilight.
I am not so confident that Kristen Stewart's acting ability will improve dramatically in…

This is my very first blog.
I know, 2008 ended 4 months ago. But I didn't get my list finished until now. Here's my favorite picks.
Top 10 Movies of 2008
10. Cloverfield
Here's a film I really didn't expect to love. It's really a fun movie.
09. Milk
A fantastic film. Brilliant performance by Sean Penn, and one of the best performances (and best pictures) of the year.

The recent Oscar contender makes its debut on Blu-Ray Home Video
The Film:
It can always be difficult to capture the essence of a historical figure in a biographical film. How does a film maker cover a massive time line and display the cultural significance of someone like
Harvey Milk within the course of two hours? Honestly I don't know...but
Milk… Continue

Sean Penn's Oscar victory for Best Actor on Sunday was somewhat of a surprise to most pundits because of the competition of heavy favourites
Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler) and
Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon). Though many may view the various awards associated with '…

This was a very faithful movie translation of the Chuck Palahniuk book of the same name and the best movie Sam Rockwell has ever been apart of. This movie is about a man who fakes choking as to…

Top Ten Comic Villains that you may not know about (DC Edition)
I grew up reading comics and I liked the villains the most. Yes, the superheroes are important but the villains are just more interesting and cool. I was always amazed that some of these villains didn't get the recognition that they deserved. They had interesting story lines and powers. Here they are:

10. Professor Hugo Strange
Powers: No “Super Powers”:…

So now that it's 2009 and we are about to get ambushed by new films, I believe it's time to list my lists of 2008. Here we go:
BEST OF 2008
10. Iron Man
This was the movie that started the Summer Blockbuster Movie Season. People might be wondering about why I put it so low on my BEST list, that's because in the theaters I had a blast with the film, to me there were really no flaws…

(Just to tell you that these films are based on films that were released in the UK in 2008, so it may…

2008 has been a very momentous year and this year's line of films fared a lot better than last year. Some films met expectations, some films came with disastrous results and a few brought high quality to the film industry. Overall it has been a great year for films. Now even though I have seen a lot of films this year, there are still a lot more to see. And its really hard to build this month's top ten list because there were a lot of… Continue

Worst

Forgetting Sarah Marhsall was sold as the funniest movie of the year but I don't know what happened, because for two hours I felt uncomfortable for the main character but I didn't laugh.

This one surprises me that anyone is putting it…

It's only November, meaning we still have about three and a half months until The 81st Academy Awards. There are still countless films awaiting release over the course of the next few months. But one film already had us talking Oscar nominations earlier in the summer: The Dark Knight.
Probably one of the most hyped films…
