In Time Review

It has action, it has adventure. At first I couldn't believe Justin Timberlake as the action hero but as the movie moves along he convince me. Amanda Seyfried as beautiful she is, she looks kinda wierd with that red hair look and his performance was a little weak and not very credible. Also I would wish more from Olivia Wilde, her performance was way too short. A good surprise was watching Johnny Galecki in a role…

Amanda Seyfried Is On The Hunt In 'Gone' Trailer

The first trailer for 'Gone' starring Amanda Seyfried has just hit the web. The trailer looks like a mashup of a dozen different movies and doesn't appear to feature much in the way of originality. But perhaps there is more that the trailer is not telling us. Does it seem to anyone else like a twist is being set up in which…

In Time Review

In Time is a movie set in an undisclosed time in the future where the term “time is money” has literally become a reality. At the age of 25 one’s time inheritance kicks in and from that moment on they have to accumulate time in order to stay alive. In New Greenwich (where the upper class resides) this is no issue at all but in Dayton (the ghetto) everyone literally lives minute to minute not known if they’ll even make it through the day. The movie follows Will Salas (Justin…

Pretty Easy

easy_a_xlg Today was a pretty dull day here, and I decided I needed something to occupy my time with.  Thankfully, Netflix came to the rescue by providing me with a pretty easy outlet.  The movie I decided to watch today was the Screen Gems picture Easy A.  The movie,  rated PG-13, stars Emma Stone, Amanda Bynes, Penn Badgley, Thomas Haden church, Patricia Clarkson, Lisa Kudrow, and Stanley Tucci.  The movie…

The Heart and Soul: Joe, played by Joel Courtney, is the central character, a good-natured 14-year-old who wants to help his friend finish his zombie film, and is at odds with his recently widowed father (Friday Night Light’s Kyle Chandler), who is also a local lawman. “He’s a really sweet kid, but he’s a follower,” Abrams said. 'Saw VI' Review -- The 'Saw' Blade Sharpens Back Up

The Game Comes Full Circle...

I can remember walking out of Saw V last year, and I hate to say it...but I was pretty disappointed. The film just didn't deliver the goods. It's narrative and so called twist made the walk to my car a living hell, and I thought to myself: "They're going to mess up… Continue

Looking Back At The 'Saw' Series

"If It's Halloween...It Must Be Saw"

I'm sure you've heard that line at least once within the last five years. It's almost impossible to go through the Halloween holiday without seeing some reference to the Saw franchise, especially when cinemas always gear up for another installment every year. When you look at it in retrospect,… Continue
