Level 5 just pulled a Valve in a sort of way. Until today no one had heard of The Starship Damrey, but it is available for purchase right now on the 3DS eShop. You awake on a spaceship but have no idea who and where you are. You must make your way though the ship while encountering various types of enemies and allies. The creators of this game aren't saying much as to what the game is really about and they intend to keep it that way. I really am intrigued by this idea of how they…Continue

Where could a game that had almost every untrademarked thing on the planet go? To trademarked things of course! It has been officially announced that the next game set in the Scribblenauts universe will be Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure. Developer 5th Cell has made it very clear that they are not just going for the most recognizable DC icons, but are really digging deep into the back catalog to find almost everyone they can. For example, this game will give…Continue
Are you people ready for this? Because I don't think you are. For the first time in a handheld Pokemon game players will be allowed... to move in more directions than up/down/left/right. Groundbreaking. It is kind of silly to look at the changes being made for Pokemon X & Y as anything new because most handheld games have been doing these things since the DS. But if you look at the Pokemon series as a whole you start to get a grasp on how different Pokemon X & Y is going to…Continue
In a surprising piece of news today Capcom has announced that the upcoming fifth installment in the Ace Attorney series, now called Phonenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, will only be available for purchase via the 3DS eShop. Capcom cited…Continue

It's been a while since I've enjoyed a good JRPG. Honestly I had never even heard of this series up until a few weeks ago. However if this is the team behind the Persona series which I've heard almost nothing but positive things about then I'm willing to give this a chance. Also the way I'm seeing fans react to this trailer does perk my interest. The graphics look pretty good for a 3DS game, and if this game proves to be a long and immersive experience then I can see no reason as to why I…Continue

As we get to see more and more from the upcoming Animal Crossing game the beads of sweat are beginning to appear on my furrowed brow as the release date quickly approaches. Oh boy... I may have to haul myself up in a bunker for a few weeks until this game moves out of the public eye. As anyone who has ever been taken in by Animal Crossing will tell you, be prepared to lose hours of time doing almost nothing. Nintendo has really hit the perfect formula with this series that is comparable to…Continue

If you aren't a fan of the pointy haired lawyer by now then.... wait. Why did you click on this then? Get out of here you! There now that they're gone we can talk about Ace Attorney. No English or even subtitles to be found in this trailer, but we do get to see this new art style in action. On the whole I'm really satisfied with how it looks. Some fans were worried when they announced they would no longer be using 2D sprites but they seem to have been able to keep the look and feel of the…Continue

In a short clip shown on Nintendo Direct we finally get to see where that Mewtwo looking Pokemon came from. The results are... huh. I'm really not to sure how I feel about this. My initial reaction is one of confusion and a tiny bit of anger. They couldn't have just left the legendaries alone could they? I will wait to see how this as of now unnamed Pokemon performs in Pokemon X/Y before making any final statements on the matter.
Pokemon X/Y will both be released in October for the…Continue

Some of you maybe be aware of the slew of announcements Nintendo made a couple of hours ago. One thing you should take away is that there were a whole fucking lot of them. Because of the contraints Spill puts on the number of pictures/videos you can post per blog post I will be separating this news into different parts. *Note* Some of these trailers are cut from the Nintendo direct video so they may cut off at inopportune times or be of not the best quality.…Continue
A new trailer for the 3DS iteration of Animal Crossing came out today. I get the style they were going for in this trailer with the voice over sounding similar to something you would hear on a commercial advertising a town. Yet the voice combined with the tagline, "Create your happy place" gave a somewhat eerie tone to this trailer from for me. Perhaps that stems from when I originally played Animal Crossing on the Nintendo GameCube. I had a great time doing jobs and buying furniture, but…Continue

Over the weekend on the popular Japanese TV show, "Pokemon Smash" a new Pokemon for the upcoming 3DS title Pokemon X and Pokemon Y was shown. Fans who have been around since generation 1 were quick to spot the obvious resemblance to the Pokemon known as Mewtwo. This caused some understandable murmur due to the fact that up to this point no known legendary Pokemon had any stages of evolution. Spokespersons from the people behind the Pokemon games are keeping their mouths shut regarding the…Continue
A whole slew on new information was put up today on Capcom's website (hope your browser has a translator) about the upcoming fifth installment in the incredibly popular Ace Attorney franchise. They showed off what would be a…Continue

So I recently got myself a Nintendo 3DS an I must say I am impressed. The 3D isn't as bad as I thought it would be and the online gameplay is great. However I have some complaints.
The ability to make Miis was a great feature as well.
The joystick thing above the arrow pad is really friendly and gives you great control. However there is hardly any grip on the joystick... Or the device itself!
The 3D can get annoying at times, but you CAN turn it off if you don't…
Having played the original game on the Nintendo 64, as well as getting a 3DS for Christmas. I was eager to get my hands on this. But remakes of classics don't always have the same feeling as the original, in this case, it felt more of the same.
The Star Fox series is a arcade style space shooter, set in universe with anthropomorphic animals…Continue
